(ooc-I thought instead of you sending Jack into a finishing topic, perhaps we involve Jack by having him meeting up with A distraught Jean and he can join and listen in on the meeting she'll have with Xavier. It'd give him insight in the missing students and the vampires, if ya don't like the idea, we can slip him into the other thread before it closes, I'll keep the post short so you don't feel pressured to reply to it! )
The instant Jean sensed she lost the connection she had placed around Spike's mind, she hurried towards the War Room, only to find him not there. So from the War Room she hurried towards Xavier in a brisk pace, first she loses her son, and now she loses the creature that will help them find a way to get Sean back, this wasn't a very good ending to her peaceful week..

After a few hours of bouncing a ball off his wall Jack couldn't take it any more. He was a man of the wild and he couldn't stay couped up in his office like this.
Jack left his office and had only taken a few steps when he saw an unmistakeable figure heading down the hall at a brisk pace. Her red hair gave away who she was right away and Jack, who had always admired her and got along alright with her, couldn't help but call out her name.
"Jean," he called, knowing it was her as she neared him. "It's Jack. Jack Macneil."
It was then that Jack, stunned as he was when it came to woman and emotions, noticed something in her face. "Hey are you alright?" he said in a softer voice. The last thing he wanted to do was upset an old friend in their first conversation in five years.

The powerful telepath turned to face her old comrade, her worried look and tired eyes causing her faint smile to appear rather sad and depressing.
Jean:"Jack.."
She began, she was going to as how he was and what he's been up to and why he's back, but she just didn't have the strength. She'll have to ask him later, right now there where other more pressing things to do.
Jean:"No, my son is missing, I can't find Rogue or our guest Spike, and now Kurt just told me Arisa is missing, though Xavier knows where she is he won't let us go get her.."
Before Jack could ask why Xavier would say such a thing, Jean continued walking towards the Professors office, talking with him on the way.
Jean:"She's with her mother, but Logan isn't aware, he's busy and I can't reach him, he's already had troubles with Connor and Madison.."
She closed her eyes sympathetically as Xavier's door came into view further down the hall.
Jean:"It was so quiet just a few days ago, now everything seems to be spinning out of control, I'm so worried about it.."
She gave Jack and apologetic look as they approached the door, raising her hand and tapping against it gently.
Jean:"I'm sorry to throw all that at you...I'm just worried, so much is happening.."

"Sounds complicated," were Jack's first words. His eyebrows were raised and his usually smug expression was, for once, sympathetic though and let on more than his words.
"I heard about Connor and Madison, poor Logan must have been going crazy," the new teacher said quickly. "I'm sorry to hear about your son as well."
Jean:"I'm sorry to throw all that at you...I'm just worried, so much is happening.."
Jack shrugged it off. "Hey don't apologise, I don't have a son but I think I can understand. Things will pick up Jean, I'm sure he's fine. If you ever need anything you can talk to me..you know if you don't have anyone better around," Jack said, his comment half in a desperate attempt to make her smile and half in truth.
Surely she had someone better around she could talk to. Why on earth would she come to him when she hadn't seen him in five years? If she did though he knew he'd be there for her no matter what. It had been awhile but Jack still felt loyal to those at the school. They'd helped him through tough times and it was his turn to repay the favour.
"Do you mind if I come in with you? I wanted to speak to Charles about a few things," Jack said.

Flashing him a faint smile as Xavier's voice called them to enter, Jean motioned him inside with a guster of her hand, and then followed in after him.
Xavier:"Jean, Jack, how may I help you two?"
He asked in his usual friendly mannar, but Jean glanced about his room anxiously.
Jean:"It's about the vampire, I lost my connection with him, and Rogue...wait.."
Xavier:"It appears they just arrived back.."
Jean:"..From where?"
Placing down the pen that was held in his hand, the Professor gave them his mysterious gaze that hinted he knew where, but wasn't going to say just yet.
Xavier:"I'm sure Rogue will inform us when she has the time."
For a moment Jean's mind wondered about in search of Sean, yet still didn't find him but instead something else caught her attention.
Professor! Jean! Please, either of you come here, we - or better Riley Finn - appears to be in serious trouble!
Jean:"Garnet?"
Xavier:"Perhaps our vampire guests are the least of our worries, Jean, if you could.."
She turned about for the door in a hurry.
Jean:"I'll be back soon Professor."
She called back as the door swang shut and Xavier was left alone with Jack for the moment.
Xavier:"You seem to have chosen to come at a very interesting time my old friend."

Jack smiled grimly. "It seems I have indeed. I had no idea so much was going on, in the future I'll call before just showing up," he said.
(ooc- Heh...thought I'd bring someone who'd be more helpful
in getting your Jack involved into the vampire story)
It was a moment before he even had the courage to touch the door, let alone knock on it, but the faint tapping that Spike partially hoped would go unheard had caught the attention of the man inside. Slowly opening the door, Spike's hazel eyes peered over at the stranger who occupied the room as well.
Xavier:"Come in Spike, I've been expecting you."
The vampire threw the older looking human a quick glance before finally taking a step into his room, his right arm uncomfortably resting over his shirtless chest.
Xavier:"...I thought Storm had-"
Spike:"Got destroyed..."
He mumbled as his eyes keenly focused on the window, watching as the light poured into the room, feeling much better now the air around him had the alien warmth he wasn't used to from his world.
Xavier:"Well we can hardly have you walk-"
Spike:"You wanted to talk with me?"
The vampire asked, almost insisting he wanted the subject of his attire to be dropped, if people where going to get bullet holes and blood stains all over his clothes he didn't see the point in worrying about it. Besides, why should an animal bother dressing up, it's not like it makes him any more human.
Xavier:"Yes. Jack, this is one of our guests, Spike, and Spike this one of our faculty members, Jack Harmony."
The palm of Spike's right hand covered the wound that was now nothing more then a scar, the light was so bright his eyes would start watering had he not torn his gaze away from the window. He eyed Jack for a moment, Spike didn't like meeting new people...the more people he knew the more strain he seemed to cause this world.
Spike:"Jack Harmony...."
He hesitated for a moment, then thought of Rogue and how upset she seemed when he lost his sanity back in the graveyard. He may not be completely sane, but he could at least act like it, if not for himself, then....for her.
Spike:"...William Spike."
His cold arm left the safety of his equally cold chest, reaching out and readying for a handshake...he didn't like touching people he didn't know...they always complained he was cold, that made him feel even more dead then he already knew he was.

Jack wasn't exactly the handshake type most of the time but he knew when to be diplomatic.
"Will," Jack said, shaking the offered hand. Jack wasn't one to call people by their full names really, he felt it made people either sound old or believe they were superior and he didn't want to be either one. He took no notice if the vampire reacted to his short form and didn't really care.
Jack's face registered surprise as he felt the cold of the other man's hand but he said nothing. The other man seemed uneasy and in turn was making him slightly uncomfortable as well.
"I can come back if this isn't a good time," Jack offered politely, not wanting the situation to get any more awkward than it already was.
Re: Xavier's Office"Will," The vampire inwardly cringed at his human name, it still felt alien for people to call him by it...especially when Rogue and this guy Jack shortened it. But for some reason he didn't mind 'Will', William was a different thing all together...that just for some reason spooked the vampire. By the expression on Jack's face, Spike quickly withdrew his hand away, throwing the professor a quick glance and hoping he could now leave.
Xavier:"Jack, this may actually be something you'd rather stay and hear, though I assume most of it may not make sense to you right now. But after this I think we should make our way down to the War Room, I believe Storm has some other guests rounded up down there."
He motioned for both of them to take a seat, but Spike looked back anxiously towards the door before he took an uncomfortable step forward, yet made no effort to take a seat.
Xavier:"I thought I should mention as well, our Spike, as well as another guest you may be interested in, have decided to stay on campus while we organise how to deal with our current threat."
With a slight scoff, Spike quickly tried to hide the amused look that struck his face, but the way Xavier looked at him seemed to force the vampire to explain himself.
Spike:"Look, I don't know what happened here, but from what I've seen o'him, he hasn't got what it takes to handle Angelus, soul boy should stay as far away from this as possible."
Was it the thought that this worlds Spike might be killed in the fight should they face Angelus, or maybe the fact he had a soul that was making this Spike nervous. he just wasn't sure right now, and didn't care to ponder these thoughts.
Xavier:" Unfortunately William-"
Ok, Garnet calling him that, he could handle, barely, but this old guy, no way, he wasn't going to have people going around calling him by a human name, he wasn't human.
Spike:"Spike, may not be a fancy human name, but that's the point, I'm not human, so I don't want people going around calling me that until I've earned it."
Xavier:"Well then, Spike, we need to know whatever you know about this place Angelus is hiding in, and we need the help of everyone we can afford."
For some reason when the Professor had spoken, something he said reminded the blonde vampire of his personal possessions he had left back in the Med Lab.
Spike:"Right...well, the place is called the Center of Inquisition, full o'the big bads, filled with both technology and magic to help keep what's inside trapped inside and what's outside trapped outside. Only way to get in is if you're invited in by someone who's already been invited in, so there's no way any o'you are jus' gonna waltz in there an' defeat'im."
Xavier thought for a moment, then studied the vampire as he cautiously moved his gaze towards the window behind his desk. Allowing his eyes to study the bright world outside, the clear blue sky, the sounds of humans calling out to each other, he had forgotten how alive a world with the sun could be.
Xavier:"Hmmm...it appears you know enough to help us, I'm sure together we can figure out a way of handling of this threat."
'Vampire' threat, that's what he meant, Spike could feel it, or was he just being overly sensitive? He doubted it, everyone seemed to judge him so harshly...except for Rogue, Garnet and even their white haired woman...Storm? They where nice...they where....strangely nice, he hadn't ever felt so welcomed except for when around them.
Spike:"Look, I don't mean to tell you how to run your lil'school or anythin', but....do these people know about us, about me?"
He pointed his cold finger almost accusingly towards Jack though he kept his eyes focused on the Professor.
Spike:"This lot doesn't have a clue, and the ones that do know keep tryin' to kill me, I mean, not that I blame them, but, the least you could do is warn them 'bout us."
Xavier:"It isn't my place to inform everyone of you or your past, that is your choice, not ours."
Spike:"They all know I'm insane, what makes you think they'll even believe me? I mean...the demon part I can prove, but when I start explaining the vampires from another world...who the bloody hell's goin' to believe that? I can't tell'em, an' if you don't tell'em, then you're lettin' all o'those who come near me in danger."
With a growl he turned around and moved towards the door.
Xavier:"I'd like you and Rogue down in the War Room later."
Throwing another glance back at the Professor as he left the room, Spike only glared at the man before walking down the hall. They where treating him so....human like, he didn't like that, he didn't like feeling like something he wasn't...he didn't want to let anyone who had their hopes that he was better down..
Xavier turned his attention back towards Jack with a little overwhelmed sigh.
Xavier:"And this my friend….is just the beginning of a very long weekend."

Jack's glance was a mixture of sympathy, confusion and amusement as he returned Xavier's look.
"Excuse me Charles but I'm still not sure what I'm suposed to be doing. Just say the words and I'll do it, whatever it may be."
As an afterthought Jack looked back at Xavier and added, "What's the deal with this Spike guy anyway? He was ranting on about demons and insanity, none of which I understood. Jean said some things were going on and I know everything is confusing but I had no idea it was to this level. I want to hear what's going on from the beginning, abridged if it's too long but the whole story please Charles."
(ooc-Sorry Lady, I posted here, the comp ate it, and now I just don't have the time to re-post what I did, and if I keep putting it off, Jack's going to miss the meeting *Bursts into tears* Feel free to post with Jack and Xavier arriving in the War Room, I just don't have the time, I can't even log into my other account, I'm getting kicked off! )
Xavier:"Perhaps instead, you and I go to the War Room, Storm has invited the group there and we'll be having a meeting. I'm sure there are others needing to be informed as well. Would you mind accompanying me?"
The Professor asked as he moved towards the door of his office.
Xavier:"I'm sure all you're questions can be answered during the meeting."
With that, Xavier moved out of the office and lead the way down the halls towards the Map Room.
