Kathleen26NH Registered User (10/7/08 7:07 pm) Reply	Hello from NH Hello my name is Kathleen. I am a 26 year old elementary school teacher and uveitis suffer for almost 2 years. I am currently a patient of Dr. Foster's in Boston MA. My experience was extremely scarey when I was first diagnosed.I went from iritis to uvueitis to bilateral pan uveitis. I struggled to stop the swelling in my eyes for almost a year with various medications and it seemed like every appointment the doses just got upped and eyes just got worse. Eventually I found a treatment that worked for me and my eyes have been quiet for a year now. I am hopeful that they will stay that way as I begin the process of slowly weining of my medications. Is there anyone out there that has been completly cured? What are my odds of overcoming uveitis with no more flare ups?

I have been in remission for a number of years, and Dr. Foster has used the "cured" word to describe my outcome. You can get there; and, you have the best bus driver in the world for the journey. I will admit to having hit a few ruts along the way, but we never crashed, and I could not be more pleased with my outcome. Welcome again. Liz
