I, THINK THIS CONCERT SHOULD BE HUGE, AND EVERY FREESTYLE PREFORMER SHOULD COME LIKE: TKA, CORO, NOEL, CORINA, GEORGE LAMOND, JOHNNY O, JUDY TORRES, BRENDA K STAR, SUAVE, CYNTHIA, THE COVER GIRLS, LIL SUZY, JUST TO NAME A FEW. I HAVE GOTTEN SO UPSET AT POWER 96 WHO NOW ALMOST NEVER PLAY FREESTYLE. THEY USE TO BE THE FREESTYLES GREATEST SUPPORTERS NOW I NEVER LISTEN TO THEM. I've never seen any freestyle artist and really don't know that many groups, I just came across your website last month and would like to see some of the artist you play like TKA,PHAZE 3,GEORGE LAMOND,MARCOS B,LIL SUZY,and SWEET SENSATION THANK YOU FOR THE SITE AND HOPE YOU CAN MAKE THIS CONCERT HAPPEN.
THE CONCERT
I too hope that a concert can be put together for the So.Florida area. Jorge let me know if you need any further contacts and when this might happen.
NY has had 3 mega events and tried a FS Friday's. Due to lack of support, the project was scrapped. I'd love to see a show down here take place some time soon before all the acts leave altogether or pursue other genres.
Safire just announced her moving on and who knows what TKA will do. Many of the artists are holding full time jobs outside the music profession.
So my fingers are really crossed hoping this could happen. Mega plans one for the summer but are unable to provide a definite date as they are looking for Sponsors still.
Good luck. It's nice to see the support on this board.

I don't live in FL (I live in NY), but it would be nice for some Florida acts to get together and perform...such as Teaz II Pleaz, Shana, Merci Mercy, Falcon, Paris By Air, Pretty Pretty, Merci Mercy, London Exchange, 4 Real, etc etc...

Freestyle Concert
That is a great idea for a freestyle concert. I suggest TKA, Expose, Cover Girls, Trinere, Secret Society, Sweet Sensation, and Erotic Exotic. Plus many more singers like Johnny O, Cynthia, Judy Torres, Sandee, SaFire and more. There are so many excellent singers of Freestyle Music. It is a shame that POWER 96 doesnt play any more Freestyle music. Ever since they fired the morning team, all they play is "annoying hip hop". DJ Felix Sama and DJ Laz use to mix all types of music especially freestyle but not anymore. So I listen to my CDs, Mega and Party 91.3. I also listen to freestylemusic.com mixes over the internet. What a great idea. Freestyle music to me is the best. If the radio station would play more freestyle music I am pretty sure that it will gain popularity.

This is the best idea I'v heard in the Miami music indusry.
I agree with other listeners power is just taped out. Mega & Party are Miami's real radio stations. I'd love to see all the artist in the free style industry perform. I'd even pay to go to a concert like this. Reminds me of the good ol dayz at Back streets, Ricks Bar, Casanovas, 1235, etc.
Keep the faith in F/S alive.

The artist I would like to see are George Lamond, Cynthia, Judy Torres, and Lissete Melendez. They epitomize Freestyle Music.

To All Freestyle Fans "THANK YOU" The Concert Event of the SUMMER is coming. I am going to be presenting some of your favorites through out severel events once a month all over town but, be prepared for the big one at "CLUB 1235" a.k.a. LEVEL in August!!!!!!! Thanks and show your love by spreading the word & coming to the events I will post the Venue on Monday June 24,2002 for the first Concert.
