Help mounting and dismounting and with toe clips
I'm a 50 year old woman just returning to cycling after 30 years. I've been a runner for while, but due to an injury - I started crosstraining and decided to start biking until and after I'm finally able to run again. Things have really changed! I just picked up my new bike today - a Trek 1000 WSD - it's made for women and I had it fitted to me at the bike shop. I rode it successfully - so that's not a problem. It's getting on and off the bike and most especially - how the heck to get my feet into the toe clips without falling off the bike? I can get one foot in but not both. How can you get both feet in and stay on the bike? Also, when I'm stopping, I am supposed to put my feet on the ground as I come to a stop, right? I feel so silly
