Hey you, hey you, this won't hurt a bit...
(Fast-forwarding a couple years into the vampires' future... I still like them being teens for now, but I thought it would be interesting to get a sneak-peek of their adulthood. They're probably around 21 in this post.)
The music echoed through his tall body as he walked, and he couldn't help but sway his hips a bit to the beat of Twisted Transistor by Korn with each step that he took.
The "family" had planned to meet at this vampire club after feeding, and John was a little early. He had a feeling Thorn would already be there, though. She liked to be on time for things.
John had grown to be absolutely gorgeous. He looked just like his idol Kurt Cobain, and he still dressed in that grunge style of his. The T-shirt he was wearing today was black and said in rainbow-colored letters: "Forget Skittles, taste my rainbow!" He found that he couldn't stray too far away from the cotton candy pink that he used to have streaks of in his hair, so his hair was now blonde on the top and pink underneath.
A smile crossed his lips when he saw one of his best friends over at the bar with a glass of blood in her hand.
Her slender legs were crossed, and her red eyes scanned the room over the brim of her glass. Thorn had grown to be a beautiful, graceful creature. Her wavy/curly cherry black hair had grown to go halfway down her back and fell over her left eye. She wore a gray corset and black pants that fit her just right. The old vial of her father's blood still hung around her neck, and she still wore that deep red lipstick.
The poor woman had guys hitting on her from every angle, but as far as Thorn was concerned, her heart was for Dimebag alone. ^_^
A lovely smile crossed her face and she waved lightly to her friend. "Johnny Love!" she cried, putting her glass on the counter before running over to the gay man and jumping into his arms.
John laughed and hugged Thorn. "You act like you haven't seen me in ages! It's only been about 30 minutes, you know."
"I know, I know," Thorn said with a smile. "I'm just happy to get away from those morons," she said, nodding towards the vampires who had been flirting with her. They all looked a little depressed, as if they thought John and Thorn were a couple.
"So, have you seen Dane or any of the others yet?" John asked hopefully. Sure, he had only seen Dane less than a half hour ago, but he hated being away from him for any amount of time.
"Nope, not yet," Thorn replied, shaking her head.
