Hi from Chicago
Hi everyone! I'm new to the board and have had quite a time with my eyes over the years. I've had Iritis 7 times in the last four years and currently I'm getting over a mild bout with Iritis combined with episcleritis. I finally went to see Dr Goldstein, a uveitis specialist in Chicago, and she put me on Feldene (NSAID). So far so good! The eyes are almost clear.

I just had the HLA-B27 test (results in a week) and my uncle is HLA-B27 with Reiter's syndrome so I'm sure I will test positive as well. All other blood tests so far are normal.

It's so nice to have a support group like this. Whenever I have an episode it's all I can do to not curl up in my bed and shut down for a couple of weeks!

KAM
