On a more sensible note, an easy answer would be for us to stop using cars so often, and for trivial things like driving to the local store for a loaf of bread when the stores at the end of your street less traffic..... less congestion...... fewer accidents At least I can say I don't contribute to traffic or polution, after having a major car crash last year, I don't drive anymore I cycle everywhere.
