DX:PCOS - Low progesterone - Mild male factor - Pre-Diabetes
TX:Puregon - Metformin 500- Utrogest (progesterone) - Folic Acid- Baby Aspirin Did 1st IUI September 2nd 2004 - - -FAILED.
2nd IUI October 15th, 2004 -- Positive! - - Miscarried at 7 weeks.
3rd IUI December 11th, 2004 --Failed
4th IUI March 5th 2005 --- Failed NO LONGER TRYING WITH TREATMENTS
I am up for a challenge. I would do anything right now to loose just a pound. It has been a struggle for me with the PCOS.
I have thought about IVF, but I can not afford it. And probably never will. Right now I am giving it a couple more times, by trying clomid. I am about to start my second round...sometime soon, if AF every shows

Did the docs tell you about going to Walter Reed if Ivf is a choice for you? It is much less than going out in town. If you have any questions or want to talk about that then you can e-mail me back.

Oh, so NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW it's working!!
Okay, going in for a polyp/fibroid removal tomorrow morning. Think of me ladies.
I was in the middle of doing my Pre IVF blood work, and test results for an IVF cycle at Walter Reed when this was discovered so in order for me to cycle I have to have it removed. I will take estrogen for 1 month to build up my lining and then back to the hospital for another saline sonongram and if everything checks out - then I can FAX all lab results and cycle sometime in 2006.
You should talk to your doctor about this - I agree. It's worth a try. I think there is another one called Willford Hall maybe but not too sure they are as good as Walter Reed.

I haven't been doing my WW this week - very, very stressful but I have been crunching my abs some.
I will try to do better this week but since weigh-in is saturday and we're going home on saturday thru tuesday and with no exercise - i'm in big trouble so my challenge might have to wait until the new year. KWIM?

what is kwim? I hope all goes well with the tests and such. I have not heard of the other location. I like the peeps up at Walter reed. I need to send them a pic of my babies for thiers books. It is very uplifting to leaf through the books of pics of the babies up there. It gave me lots of hope when we went for the procedure.

I'm having a hard time trying to stay "focus" on my eating plan ... I will do good for 3 weeks and the 1 week before AF - I blow it and can't seem to get back on track.
I'm going to go now and try to run on the treadmill for about 30 minutes w/o giving up too much breath. LOL
I'll be back later ...

Sorry you are having such a struggle with the weight. Congrats on the FREE weight watchers. I am having trouble finding what works for me in eating and exercise. I was recently diagnose with metabolic syndrome and I am planning to attack the weight issue from that handle and see what happens. Anyway, good luck! and keep us posted!
