I'm insane...
But I just HAVE to have a PHANTOM RP! I know you probably haven't seen the movie, so I'll keep the post heading in the right direction. I basically want to go through the entire story and see how we change the scenes, especially the ending.
Plot: A young woman named Christine Daae is trained in Opera by a mysterious tutor that she believes is the "Angel of Music," an angel sent by her dead father to help her succeed in life. He finally shows himself to her and falls deeply in love, and he decides that he wants Christine to be his forever. The Phantom's heart is broken when Christine gets secretly engaged to her childhood sweetheart Raoul, and the Phantom becomes muderous. He finally gives his love one choice: stay with him forever, or he hangs Raoul.
Setting: late 1800's, The Opera Populaire opera house in Paris, France
The 3 characters you can choose from-
Name: Erik (AKA The Phantom of the Opera, Opera Ghost, or the Angel of Music)
Appearance: tall, handsome and sexy, black hair, blue eyes, black suit with a long black cape and black gloves, wears a white half-mask to cover up the right side of his face because of a slight deformation that has made people scared of him since he was a child in the carnival
About: The Phantom is a mysterious, deeply disturbed man due to his sad past. He was always beaten and turned away, cast out from the rest of society because of the right side of his face. He is incredibly intelligent: an artist, music composer, architecht and designer, magician- he does it all. He lives in the vaults beneath the opera house and everyone in his domain are pretty much his puppets. All he wants is love, and it makes him a bit of a stalker. Erik doesn't like anything getting in his way, and he's not afraid to kill to get what he wants. He basically represents darkness and hot sex.
Name: Christine (but Raoul calls her Little Lotte)
Appearance: lovely, skinny as a post, wears corsetted dresses most of the time, curly brown hair, big pretty eyes
About: Christine is a young ballerina/opera singer with a promising future in a singing career. She is young and naive, and isn't quite sure of what she wants. She quickly falls for her "Angel's" spell, but things change when she realizes how much she means to Raoul. She finds herself in the middle of a dangerous love triangle and has to make a tough choice.
Name: Raoul
Appearance: skinny and handsome, is a bit of a pretty boy and has an innocent look to him, long light brown hair and handsome eyes
About: Raoul is a young Count that has known Christine for years. He is a patron of the opera house and goes to all of the operas that are performed. He just wants a simple life in the country with his beloved Christine, but finds himself fighting for his life when the mysterious Phantom shows up. He doesn't understand why Christine is so entranced by the Phantom, and he's determined to free her. He basically represents the light and innocent romance.
Secondary Characters (I'll RP these, they'll push us in the right direction)-
Madame Giri: a teacher at the opera house, one of the only ones who knows anything about Erik's past, the one who hid Erik in the Opera Populaire in the first place
Meg Giri: a ballerina, Giri's daughter, Christine's best friend, a little nosy
Joseph Buckette: a stage hand who knows a bit about Erik too, a bit too nosy for his own good (and the Phantom kills him because of it), a bit of a perv
Andre and the other dude (don't know his name): they own the opera house, they're greedy, don't follow Erik's instructions
Carlotta: a diva that hates Christine because she feels Christine is trying to steal her spotlight, annoying and isn't that good of a singer, mean and snobby
the chandelier: Ok, the lighting fixture isn't alive, but it's still important. After Christine betrays Erik in front of everyone by pulling off his mask, he drops the enormous chandelier on the audience.
I might think of more later.
Anyway, how this will work: I will give a basic outline of the scene and we will RP it. We can say and do whatever we want, but there will be a few things that we MUST do for each scene.
If you have any questions, let me know. I think this could be fun.

Oh, ok. I love the movie, but it's one of those "you either like it or you don't" sorta things, because it's kinda long and is boring to some. It's got a nice dark gothic feel to it, though. And the music is beautiful.
Just remember to rent the one with GERARD BUTLER AND EMMY RUSSOM in it, because pretty much any other Phantom of the Opera movie is a cheaply made horror film. The one I'm talking about is a dark romance, WITH MUSIC! Yay!
