Introduction to the Local Night Life
It had been a while since Kylora had been in a club. The last one she'd been in had been a disco in Europe. That had been the type of night that had gotten her a bit grounded. Of course, she hadn't done anything really wrong (no drugs or sex or drunkenness), but the fact that she was at that type of scene had set her Mum off the deep end. This had resulted in grounded for a week with supervisional first dates only. The elfen dear had been fuming for the whole week and almost snuck out a few times. Too bad for her that her Mum could sense the water within her body and would have known if she had snuck out (which was why she didn�t sneak out in the first place).
Well, her mother wasn't in this reality and she had actually been quite good up until now. However, it was time for a change of scenery and a little fun. Having a nice time on the dance floor with a friend close by wasn't the worst she could do. Of course, she would need a fake i.d. in case the bouncer needed some convincing, but the best thing about going out with a friend who happened to be a technomorph was the fact that the girl would have a fake i.d. done in about five minutes. And it would look authentic too! True, she had only met the girl that day, but they had become practically instant friends.
The two girls had gotten ready in an extraordinarily shorter amount of time than one would have thought for two teenage girls. Kylora had chosen an airy green halter top dress that came down a little over halfway down her slim calves with a sheer silver overlay. Aldrea had chosen a dark blue spaghetti strapped slip dress, about the same length. The fabric actually was smooth and silky that sparkled in the light, echoing a clear night sky. The elfin beauty had opted to wear a pink sparkly plumeria barrette, with lavender trim, to hold back a bit of her wavy dark chocolate locks. Emerald eyes admired the smokey effect the lavender eye shadow had as she finished off the look with a rosy pink lip gloss. The Native American had left her hair down, preferring to curl it and allow it to frame her lovely face. She had allowed Kylora to accent her brown eyes with some brown eye shadow and finished the look off with red lip gloss. Add matching handbags and shoes and you had two killer looks.
A quick show downstairs to Kichi and Armaan had taken place before the two had taken a cab to town, straight to Dying Star. They had gotten a few whistles, causing Aldrea to give a shaky grin while Kylora gave a confident smile in contrast. A short line later and the bouncer didn�t even take a second look at their i.d.s; he just waved them in with an �enjoy your night, ladies�. The club was a flurry of movement and sound. The music was actually good and everything seemed to be ready for a nice night. The Southern teen was actually glad to have agreed to come so far. She only checked on her wrist computer once, just to make sure that it was there even though it looked like an arrangement of silver bangles. "So, do ya wanna dance first or grab a table?," asked Kylora in a semi-excited tone. A short glance around told Aldrea that she might want to get a hold of her surroundings first. "Why don't we get a drink to start the night off," said the younger girl. "Fine by me," said the older teen and they then made their way to the bar, ordering two mineral waters right off the bat before heading for a table near the dance floor.
