Though I still like Kemo as a fanfic character, I like the whole spirit idea. Plus, it's given me a fanfic idea, and I don't get many good fanfic ideas, so...
But, anyway, if I ever do get my current fanfic finished so I can start a new line (first I did a line of horrible stories before I learned to write, then I agreed to do a sequel to J. Wolfman's stuff so Balto won't be stuck as an exile for all eternity. So if I finish that I'm starting over and going to try to tie the new ones in with Balto II), I thought of a sort of Into the Westish twist...sorta mixing the spirit guardian and Balto's mother theories, in a way.
Umm, so, something happens, someone needs help or something, something happens to Balto...erp. I've got an ending, but I don't have a plot for it. Well, whatever the heck is going on, Balto's visited by the spirit again. But this time, it melts away into a husky...Balto's mother. And...well...that's all I've got, actually. Dang, it always sounds better in my head.

It's my personal opinion that the white wolf from Balto is a female wolf who is symbolic of the legends surrounding the white wolf that guides the lost and help them find their way. I don't think that the white wolf is a wholely immaterial being, but does have a projection into the metaphysical (as we all do anyway) and so isn't completely absolved of mystery. But I don't know anything for certain, it''s just my opinion (except that she's female, which is a fact).

o.o@Fluke. I thought I'd leave him out, I didn't want to scare people. Plus he always tries to eat me, or parts of me. Oi, bet he's gonna tear my leg off or something later at TBL.

The wite wolf and aniu is the same charter and aniu is balto's mom but if you moronwolfs can't get it it was six year's of animation improvment betwen the movies! and aniu is a spirit and balto's mom (wait i alredy told you thet)!
Plus, it's given me a fanfic idea, and I don't get many good fanfic ideas, so...
