Physical Description: Julia is 5’7” with a slim muscular build that is she has built up with regular exercise and a mostly healthy diet. She has layered dirty blonde hair with highlights that fall to a few inches below her shoulder blades with wisps that frame her lovely face. It has a slight curl, but only if she doesn't blow-dry it. She will add a little curl to enhance the richness of her soft silken locks.
Julia tries to always look her best. If she's going to a job interview, she'll show up in an outfit that Jackie Onassis would have been proud to wear in that century. Even when she's sick, she'll make sure that she doesn't look too grungy (but only if she can help it, otherwise she'll lock herself in her room!). She prefers colors that compliment each other, often drawing on the full spectrum of colors that compliment her complexion. Often she will match neutrals with one color to make it pop (Ex. Brown mini skirt with a robin’s egg blue halter top and brown boots, having her hair held back with a robin’s egg blue ribbon). From cute mini-skirts, or mini-skorts, to a turquoise jumpsuit that hugs her in all the right places, this girl has variety and flair to spare.
Like her sister, Julia walks with grace and poise, along with a posture that most people only dream of achieving at her age. She walks at a moderately fast pace, sometimes slowing when in thought or in a particularly dreamy mood. She will and can walk at a purposeful fast pace if in a hurry.
Her voice is moderate soprano and sounds an awful lot like her sister’s. Whenever she answers the phone, the caller may be unsure of which sister they are talking to, having lead to a few tiffs, in the past, between the two whenever the other took advantage of this fact.
Mutant Powers: She inherited her father’s ability to transform her body tissue into an organic, steel-like substance that grants her superhuman strength and a high degree of imperviousness to injury. Her armored form can withstand ballistic penetration as well as temperature extremes from 70º above absolute zero (-390º F) to approximately 9000º F. Unlike her father though, Julia has the potential to become partially or selectively armored, but only after some extensive training and time. When in her completely steel form, even her eyes become steel-like.
Like her father, it takes an act of will for Julia to transform virtually instantaneously into her armored state, and can remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. Once in her armored form, Julia remains so until she consciously wills herself back to normal. If she is rendered unconscious, however, she spontaneously reverts to her normal form. In her armored state, Julia retains her normal human mobility, though her endurance and speed are enhanced. She does not need to breathe while transformed, but it is believed that she could not survive for long in a vacuum.
Skills: Archery. She is a very good archer with the potential to become as skilled as the Avengers’ Hawkeye.
Julia is a very skilled dancer, having taken ballet lessons since she was a very young age and, later, ballroom dancing. Because of this, she has both grace and poise that makes her the envy of most people.
Julia is skilled in some weapons fighting. She was taught how to fight with a staff and katana by her mother, and is currently learning how to use scythes and nun chucks. She has also studied fencing at school. She also has been trained in some forms of martial arts by her mother. These skills were more of a way to teach her discipline as well as a way to defend herself with or without the use of her power.
Julia has studied art for a very long time. Her father taught her and her siblings all to draw and paint and even how to work with clay. However, she hasn’t picked up a paint brush since her father was presumed dead.
History:
Julia was the first to be born to Kitty and Piotr Rasputin. Her parents had waited a long time to actually start a family and were proud first parents. They may have spoiled her right off the bat, but that was a bit expected considering the fact that they were first time parents. A precosious child, Julia was always getting into things. Her parents enjoyed her curiousity and eagerness to learn. She was only one years old by a few months when her little brother, Nicholas, was born. When she looked on at her little brother, she knew that she would always have a friend in him. She even would help her mother out with little Nicholas or try and do a few chores before she was put down for her naps. She wanted to do whatever Mommy or Daddy did.
Julia and Nic shared a room once Nic was old enough to sleep on his own. They both found comfort in knowing that the other wasn't far off (even when it was dark!). It wasn't until they moved out of the city that Julia was given her own room. However, even that perk wasn't enough of a boon to make her not resent the move. She had to leave all her friends behind because of the stupid move and there just didn't seem to be as much going on outside the city! Just visiting didn't seem to be enough. She wanted to live there; not in the suburbs. Julia seemed to resent Tobe, having gotten it into her head that her youngest sister had been the reason for their move out of the city. While she was partly right, it was not a justifiable reason.
Over time, the blonde-haired eldest's resentment melted away as she became more involved in after-school activities and making friends. Chicago would still be her favorite place to be, however she became to be aware that there were some benefits to the move. For example, while she was still able to take dance classes in the old neighborhood after school, she could also participate in fencing classes during gym. There were also cool school trips to go on and there was a club for everything you could think of!
Personality: Julia is the 'golden child'. She tries to be perfect in everything. If a hair is even out of place, she has to fix it before she's seen in public. She has a strong sense of duty too. If she signs up for something, she sees it through. Grades are important to her as well. A 'B' doesn't even cut it. She will study long and hard, but mostly, school just comes easy to her. She's used to being popular and mostly getting her way. However, she can't stand to be called 'snobby'. She's nice for the most part, but watch out if ya get on her bad side! She is stubborn to the point of pigheadedness. She won't admit that she's wrong unless there is undeniable evidence of her wrongness. And even then, she'll only apologize to appease the other person, but she won't truly admit how wrong she really was. Nicholas is the only one she'll truly admit how wrong she is to and even then it is begrudgingly.
There's also a vulnerable side to her. She has refused for years to believe that her father is dead. She just knows that he is out there, looking for a way to get back to his family. She is actually quite stubborn about that fact and refuses to listen to anyone who tries to convince her otherwise. He made a promise to her. and the rest of the family, and he wouldn't have made that promise if he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it.
