Every time I am in Walmart I pickup WoW and sigh.. Our phone connection max is 28.8. We live in a VERY remote area (yeah Ohio has em)... I have been considering getting DirectWay, Does anyone know if Sat based Broadband is Ok for game or is there latency issues ? Is anyone using it ? WoW is good for those with a little time ? Airwolf you know my gaming habits, is a couple Hours per day going to keep me entertained?

I myself just came over to WoW after a good two year break after leaving EQ. This I can say so far, it is nowhere near as time consuming as EQ ever was with me. (Swallx) Unless things have changed in the world of Satellite connections in the last 2 years, while they have decent through put, the latency will kill ya. Surfing web pages was a total pain but downloading something with ftp or the like wasn't bad once it was connected and going. Aye, Hunters rock. Also, if you ever felt like playing a Rogue but felt Rogues seemed like limited tanks, like in most games. The Rogue play in WoW is quite awesome. Tom and a couple others play or did play with dialup just fine. They just weren't able to do Ventrillo (voice program) with us on raids. Lyth
