Oh man! Thank you FAUX JEAN for making my day, week, month, year....(along with the Idle Hands)! I haven't seen a band rock Rochester like you did the night of May 2, 2003, in a long time. Your second half of the set smoked, and that's an understatement. The performance of "Nature" was a triumph of all that is good about live Rock and Roll--you are blessed.
Faux Wayne's energy is awesome!
Gene Wire is great, and that double-cutaway Gibson of his competed with Jean Angel as the most beautiful person, place, or thing on the stage!
IMO, the keyboards couldv'e been mixed louder through the main speakers. I only really heard them with the guitars dropped out...sorry to say.
Thought of the Day: If I had to describe Faux Jean in a nutshell to someone, an easy way to do so would be to say "Faux Jean is like The Shocking Blue with modern R-n-R attitude, style, sound and energy!".
I'd love to see you at First Ave. on the 9th...but maybe my wife won't go for it. So play Rochester again soon!!!
