Last Night in Hibernia
Last night was a little frustrating fighting in Hibernia. I think I made at least a dozen trips to Emain Macha and got slain shortly thereafter. However, we were facing powerful enemy and by 11PM est most folks gave up for the night.
I decided on a whim to head to Albion. Only two people were there from our lands. Both of which we waiting patiently for the Albions to come reclaim Hurbury. So I decided to run there alone. Fortunately I made it their unscathed.
Meanwhile, back in the Midgard frontier the forces that had done so well in Hibernia decided to move on to our keeps. So word was sent out.
Quickly the companions I made in Hurbury and I made it back to Svasud Faste in time to meet up with more of their guildmates of the Order of Shadow. I felt small at my 44th season, for everyone else that stood before me were in their 50th. This time Midgard mustering a much stronger force of our highest seasoned warriors and spell casters met the Albions and Hibernians in the field. They were slain at the foot of Fenslair Faste and then hunted down in Odin's Gate as the tried to re-enter our homelands. When all was said and done four to five groups of enemy were routed.
I wrote this note to inspire those who had to rest that all was not lost and the Albions were eventually met toe to toe with equally seasoned Midgardians...and defeated.
