The second "Uveitis Subspecialty" day was held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology in Chicago, Illinois, on October 15, 2005. "Uveitis 2005: New Frontiers in Diagnosis and Treatment" was organized by Drs. C. Stephen Foster and Quan Dong Nguyen, and included comprehensive coverage of both extraocular and intraocular inflammatory diseases. Among the topics discussed were conjunctivitis, uveitis diagnosis and management, and infectious uveitis.
