Lebendige Leiche
Name: (Lebendige Leiche - Experimental German Mech Unit)
Type: CCQ
Mobility Type: Land
Control Type: Manual Pioloted
Years Running: Undetermined. All records lost after The Great Destruction.
Previous Records: Original.
Appearance: Lebendige Leiche was created for Close Quarters Combat in a variety of environments. It's smaller than most mech units by atleast ten meters. However, this has two advantages. It's instantly dismissed as inferior because of it's small stature, and it's able to maneuver swifter and more easily than the larger, bulkier mechs. The Rouge of Mechs, so to speak. The exterior shell is a midnight blue. But, you can barely tell there's any color at all, as most of the machine is rusted over and covered in vines, dirt, moss and even some nightshade. It appears as if the vegetation is growing and living right off the mech. The right arm of Lebendige Leiche is larger than the rest of the shell. The size almost doubles from the shoulder to the forearm. Towards the end is a mangled claw with five, razor-sharp talons. It looks even more run down than the rest of the mech and it seems to be almost impossible to even be of any use in battle. Lebendige Leiche has no fancy jet boots or rocket packs. It's completely self-reliant. The underside of each foot are fitted with six large tires to add to quicker mobility. They're used as a sort of roller blade.
Armament: To the observing eye, the only real weapon that can be seen is the defunct claw. However, if looked upon more closely, inbetween the vegetation and broken scraps of metal, running down the left side a sheath houses the impressive looking 'dagger' Seele Dieb. The term dagger is used loosely. It looks more like a blade that was melted to a saw. Seele Dieb is a ghastly weapon. Not only does it slice/stab on one side, but it also is able to sever and rip apart with the other.
Armor: Because Lebendige Leiche is a CCQ mech, it carries no shield and has very light armor plating. Half a dozen solid hits is enough to put it down for a good chunk of time. However, actually hitting it is a daunting task. Only other CCQ mechs or an experienced gunner would be able to stand a good chance.
History: Not much is known about Lebendige Leiche. It's common knowledge that Germany was working on an experimental mech type before The Great Destruction, however the majority of records were lost and only scattered news articles tell the tale. Usually regarded as myth, Lebendige Leiche and the other experimental mech were long forgotten. Recently, there's been movement comming from the rubble of Germanies outter country. No official reports have been made, as it's not something to waste time or money on. One thing can be sure though. Whatever Germany was working on before everything was destroyed, is still around.
Special Attacks: The giant claw seems to re-animate itsself when the death blow is close at hand. It springs to life as almost all the energy is focused into the claw. With that much energy being forced to one area of the mech, it's hard to control and almost goes into a beserk rage, if not handled properly. When the claw is used, not only does it leave a tremendous gash, but it also seems to swipe some of the life force of the mech and it's pilot, draining the pilot and mech of it's reserved energy.
Also, Lebendige Leiche can use the Seele Dieb and unleash a brutal flurry of attacks. While not all of them are killing blows, they do limit the functionality of the mech quite a bit.
Special Features: Able to re-direct the energy stolen from other mechs and use it temporarily to flee or make one last stand. Also, the roller-blade like feet that can be switched on and off easily.
Pilot: Unknown.
