Let's try and be inconspicious
After his rather pleasant encounter with Circe, Kane was on his way to the outer grounds. Being in a good mood - which didn't happen that often - he wondered whether some real life training would be enough to let him gain absolute control over his powers.

Murray exited Kurt's office and headed down the halls, his eyes downcast as he thought. He was being asked now to question all that he had thought about himself and his powers, perhaps it was possible that he had hope and could control his powers one day.
As he glanced up to see where he was going Murray noticed Tempest ahead of him and stopped in his tracks. That sure was an unexpected surprise. He had thought that he had lost track of the new mutant when held up in Nightcrawler's Office but here was another chance to keep an eye on him.
Murray wondered where the mutant was going and briefly considered whether it would be better to confront him and talk or just to follow and see where the mutant led him. After one moment he decided to actually start a conversation, despite the dread that thought brought up in him.
"Hey Tempest," he called out, trying not to grimace. "What did the blue elf say to you?" Murray asked, trying to sound friendly although this didn't turn out quite the way he had planned.

Murray frowned a little inwardly as he saw the look that passed over Tempest's face. Clearly he didn't want to be here talking anymore than Murray himself. Well pain is always a part of life and you have to suffer to gain so Murray kept on talking.
"Yah same here..so uh where you headed?" Murray asked, knowing that his conversation attempts were weak and wondering if the newcomer would call him on it or play along.

Tempest's answer was as short and boring as the whole so called conversation.

Finding himself thinking about a way to escape, Kane had a hard time keeping himself from frowning.
*You can't avoid talkin' to him the whole time you're here... he's in your team, remember?*
"Wanted to go out to the grounds... see how large the whole area actually is and such..."
*Yeah, a longer answer* he thought sarcastically *and now?*
"Erm... ya... wanna join in?" Surprised by his own words, Kane stopped for a moment and decided honesty was the only way... for now.
"Look, 'm bad with those conversation things and'll either sit or walk around. Eitherway talking will hardly be included and I can't even promise
to smile or anything that's expected. In fact, the whole team bit's not really what I was up to but now that I'm in..."
he shrugged implying he'd be part of the group and try to give his best but "excited" wasn't really the word for it.

Murray felt the slightest hint of a true smile cross his face as he said, "Sure I'll come. I'm not big on conversation or teams either so this suits me just fine. The Professor said I should start 'blending' so I'm trying. Sorry for the stupid small talk but I figure if it'll make Nightcrawler and the Prof happy maybe it'll keep them off my tail."
