Description: Angel is a 6'1'' tall strongly built male vampire with brown eyes and hair. He has the tattoo of a Celtic gryphon on his right shoulder. In game face his eyes are yellow. He stopped aging at 26.

History:
Born in 427 around Galway, Ireland, he was raised by an abusive father who insisted that everytime Liam did something wrong, the devil would come after him. Over the years Liam grew severly depressed and always tried to drink his roblems away.
This is how Darla was able to saduce him so easily, while on his way home from drinking she cornered him in an ally. Promising him times of fun and adventure, he gave himself up to her, only for her to turn him into a Vampire. She began to call him Angelus meaning "He with an angelic face".
For the next 4 centuries he and his Sire roamed the country and all of england terrorizing the mortals. During this time he did many unspeakable acts, all of which to this day he regreats. Just after his 300th year of unlife, Angelus stalked and teased, terrorfying a young nun-wonnabee. Her desires to serve god where crushed when the priests said her 'gifts' she possessed where unholy. After Angelus litually drove her insane, he turned her into a Vampire, and she too joined in terrorizing the humans.
Being a vampire he took pleasure in hunting and killing, and this is what lead him to drained the blood of the favourite daughter of a Romany Tribe, thought her rank was unknown to Angelus at the time. They promptly cursed him by returning his soul. His soul was to remain unless he had one moment of true happiness. After all, what use is the curse if it does not cause him torment?
Driven to insanity from the guilt and torment he felt over all he had done, remembering how he brutelly murdered his father...his mother...even his little sister, who had thought her brother had returned as an Angel to watch over her.
Angelus..who was abandond by both his Sire and his Childe after they discovered his soul was returned..soon altered his name and shortend it to Angel. He lurked about the shadows, sulking and brood alone for years.
After a visit from a strange motal named Whistler, he discovered his true calling in life was to earn his redemption by helping a Slayer. Eventually this lead to love between mortal enemies. Wouldn't you know it, as the relationship between them progressed they shared their affection, unaware that his curse would be broken by doing so. He lost his soul and all hell broke loose. Well, nearly.
Angelus was determind to avenge his anger ypon the world, enraged at what the Gypsies had done to him, and that his Shire and own Childe left him. Gathering some ancient artifacts and a few powerful spellcasters, Angelus was determind to open a potel to hell, and have the world consumed by its burning fires.
Although he managed to open the portal, white witches managed to re-produce the spell and recurse him, unfortunately it was too late and the portal was opened, thrown into dispair for what he had almost done, he throws himself he was sent to Hell in order to close a portal Angelus had opened by leaping threw it.
Once he returned from his brief three hundred years visit to warmer climates, his body and mind tortured and beaten every minute of it, he became determind to help others. Over the last few years his mind has become more focused, although at times he might burst out in a rage of anger if provoked, he has become rather Sane.
Angel currently resides in Down Town New York, with Spike, where he works running The Renaissance Hotel.
Personality:
Doesn't like socializing too much with others he doesn't know very well. He's extremely nervous and defensive with his emotions, afraid of losing himself in a moment of joy and falling back into darkness. He hates abusive parents and can never turn a blind eye, always eager to help those in trouble and determind to keep the bad guys in check.
Likes:
Brooding about in his Hotel, reading old books, helping people.
Dislikes:
Angelus, hates his other half with a passion and fear. Hates it when he is reminded of either his father or a past action he has done while he was Angelus.
..Dislikes fire and pointy wooden objects. Hates to vamp out or eat when watched. Loves fine art. Neat freak. Shy about dating.
