I have! I heard Slither on the Sunday, the day before the album was released (6th I think it was) and went racing around Sydney to find someone who was selling it that day and I think it's awesome - it's good to see Slash back out there although a Guns n Roses resurrection would be mindblowingly awesome.

Scott Weiland's voice fits so well with the Velvet Revolver stuff - I think that's part of why it sounds so great.
Axl was just about always a tool Kings of Leon programmed rage while they were out here for Big Day Out so I taped it and they played the videos for Patience and Paradise City - two of my favourite Guns n Roses songs. In the Paradise City video, Axl is wearing this white denim jacket with the GnR logo on it and white denim jeans that are so tight you can see every last muscle movement but the size of the crowd there is incredible.
In Patience, it's the bandana under the backwards cap, his tshirt is tied up at the back to look tight and his thumbs are hooked into his belt loops - it's a good look.
Lastly, if you switch the letters of Axl Rose around, you get oral sex.

haha you know what it wouldnt suprise me if that was the reasoning behind the name axl rose
oh you know that white gnr jacket that he wore - i wanted one of those so bad for so many years i would have traded just about anything for it
hey if you want it i have a copy of gnr 'welcome to the videos' DVD if your machine can play copied discs - cost you all of about $3 for me to make the copy

no sweat at all - if the dvd player is under 18 months old you shoul dbe safe - but if you get the brand and model number ill be able to find out very easily for you

I made the mistake of asking Dad and he's gone on some mission to figure it out - he's pulled out books and manuals and all sorts of stuff. I don't go back to mum's until Monday so I'll ask her when I next see her.

I'm back at mums and apparently this DVD player plays burnt DVD's so I'll speak to you some time about postage, money and once my Dashboard EP's arrive, I'll burn them and post them back if you like to say thanks
