Lowered Truck
My truck was already lowered when I got it and I believe the previous owner said that he modified the ZQ8 suspension to lower it and I also believe he said he cut the coils. Would that be possible and lower it? It rides very rough and I am wondering if I should be concerned and get new suspension for lowering put on, get it bagged so I can choose a height, or just lift it back up with new ZQ8 suspension kit. Thanks.

Re: Lowered Truck
If you want a lowered truck, I'd get a legitimate lowering kit....Beltech is probably the most widely used. I'd be extemely careful with your ride if the previous owner did in fact cut the coils. This is very dangerous and impossible to get the truck to sit evenly since it basically involves heating up the springs, letting the weight of the truck push them down and then eyeballing it cut them evenly. I'd get new springs if I were you...but that's just an opinion.
