Lyrics
Before the Night is Over - Gaelic Storm

Some take their hope, and hide it away
It burns in the darkness, like gold in a grave.
There's a spark inside, that can't be concealed.
No hurt is so secret it can't be healed.

chorus:
Before the night is over'
make your heart an open door
then all we hold inside us
won't divide us anymore.
Before the night is over
and the time we have is done
Before our courage fades away
let our hearts be bound as one.

I've lost my way, when nothing is clear
I've been afraid to love, then I hurt what I fear.
I can face the night, find strength in your eyes
not afraid to fall, not afraid to rise.

chorus, repeat and fade

Do you realize
That you have the most beautiful face?
Do you realize
We're floating in space?
Do you realize
That happiness makes you cry?

Do you realize
That everyone you know someday will die?
And instead of saying all of your good-byes
Let them know you realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Do you realize?

Do you realize
That everyone you know someday will die?
And instead of saying all of your good-byes
Let them know you realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Do you realize
That you have the most beautiful face?

Do you realize?

Re: Lyrics
In Dublin's fair city,
where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
She wheeled her wheelbarrow,
Through the streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and muscles alive alive O

She was a fishmonger, sure 'twas no wonder
For so were her father and mother before
They drove their wheel barrow
Through the streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and muscles alive alive O

She died of the fever, and no one could save her
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone
But her ghost wheels her barrow
Through the streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and muscles alive alive O

Re: Lyrics
Hey Juni, have you ever read any of Spider Robinson's Callahan books? Man, but those are some good stories. It's an SF series about a bar full of rummies. :) But it's a special bar, with a pair of time travelers, a talking dog, an alien and an alcholic vampire, amoung others. And each and every one of them is the best of friends. That's the special part ;) Their motto is, "Shared pain is lessened, and shared joy increased." They are all there to do just that, help each other out and just be friends. Their mission in life: to get telepathic.
Now that is a damn worthy goal. Just like in the song I posted. Friends coming together and letting down all the walls. Opening up themselves completely and un-ashamedly to each other, taking that bond of friendship and comepletly redifining it.

"Let our hearts be bound as one."

Re: Lyrics
:) Thanks for those lyrics to Molly Malone. I like that song too. Good old tune.
