Macaroni Cheese Twist
1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce

1 cup water

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons dried parsley

4 ounces processed American cheese, cubed

16 ounces corkscrew pasta, cooked and drained



In saucepan, sauté green pepper, garlic and onion in olive oil until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, water, oregano and parsley. Simmer 20 minutes. Meanwhile cook and drain corkscrew pasta, according to package instructions. Mix cheese cubes and cooked pasta together in a large serving bowl. Pour sauce over all and serve. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
