Medical Bay - Family Issues
It had been a while since they arrived, easily over an hour, Beast told Jarod she probably fainted from the over use of her powers, but he couldn't find the reason as to what would cause her behavour to change so much. Jarod was sitting beside her bed on a chair, his hands holding onto her own hand so affectionatly as it rested beside her on the bed, just wanting her to wake up and be her old self again. He had his head down, he hadn't been feeling well either, this was all making everything feel so much worse, he didn't understand what she had been so upset about before back in the halls either.
Everything kept replying in his mind, he just wanted to wake up in his bed again and start the day over, he was tired, everything was happening so fast. His father was hurt and now Mandra was hurt, why where they hurting, who had done this to them, why couldn't Jarod have protected them from whatever was trying to hurt them? One his hands slipped away from the hand he was holding and moved over her stomach gently let his fingers curl about her other hand. It made him feel better when he held her, he's never really had a whole lot of chances to hold her, and he longed so much to kiss her again, it made everything feel so much more safer, nothing could harm them when they where close, that's what it felt like, none of his other friends made him feel like that, even though he barely talked with anyone else, around all the others in fact he seemed so emotionless and inhuman, it was like she was the only person who ever saw the real him aside from Jean and his father who had worked so hard to break through his protective shell.
