Other Physical Details: Well, Melly's cute.. But that's a given. She's got markings like her mother has except they're a floreschent sky blue in color that glow depending on mood and time of day.. meaning they're like moodrings or something and glow in the dark and stuff. Well, she has fangs and pretty sharp teeth too.. but that might be explained by her diet- her strictly meat diet. She also has the same spritely ears of cuteness that her momma has. She, unlike her momma though, dresses at least almost up to date although her clothes are baggy and she always wears gloves.. But that's because she's got claws. She also always wears shoes. Her body is completely covered in short fur except for her scalp hair which is a little past her shoulders and the fur at the end of her tail which is about three inches long and makes her tail resemble a Lion's or something... Usually, she waxes, nairs, shaves, and does other things to get rid of that fur that grows in literally over night. Along with that, she uses make up and sometimes even hair dye...
Mother: Zia Father: Well, he's looooooooooooooooong gone and anyway, her momma doesn't remember and Melly never knew. Her father was a man from ancient japan. The grandson of a man who once had her be guardian of his household. {had Zia as guardian} His name was Takeo Kazuki Other Important Relatives or People in their lives: Of course her grammy, grampy, grand autns and grand uncles. Grammy and Grampy are Time and Space.
Personality: Due to all the lessons she had learned over her life, she's a mostly peaceful person up until someone disrespects her enough or tries to harm her.. then it's war. She's polite but cautious, unsure of how close she can get to anyone. She isn't necessarily comfortable about Humans but had learned to forgive the ones in her past and is trying to start anew with her oppinion of them. She is ashamed of her anger problem, not wanting anyone to really see her like that.. but once she has lost her temper, she tries to leave it in the past and not dwell on the damage done... unless it involves animals having gotten hurt while doing her bidding. Even though she is a meat eater, she loves animals {and no, not just for their taste}

Powers and/or Skills: Well, besides her un-natural cuteness factor {that cuteness can be taken either as the 'awwww isn't she just adorable' or the damn she's sexy' way} She can understand animals, speak their lingo, and control them. She can sense if an animal is within a mile of her but her controling them only works within 50 feet. her speaking with them reaches the same distance as her ebing able to get a hold on them with her control.

History: Zia, Melantha's mother, was in a way not born but made ; her parents being time and space. That explains why her abilities tap her into other dimension and life-streams. She came onto the world with her same appearance and not a stitch of clothing on her and looking to be about 16 years of age, having no notion of who or what she was...The place was Egypt. She only knew that her parents were indeed time and space themselves. She had the necessary knowledge to survive on her own but tried to see what other people were like, wandering into a village. The people in the village thought at first appearance that she was Anubis and by the time the rest of the village heard of her arrival, they were assuming she was just that. The people gave her shelter and gifts. Then one night, they tried to send her back to where they thought she belonged by sending a warrior to kill her but she found out a moment before the warrior went to attack and dragon-like wings exploded from her back along with a matching tail. The warrior was incinerated with a wave of energy she sent at him. That night, she left with only what she wore; a cloth loincloth held up by gold and emerald belt that lay around her hips, a cloth chest-covering wrapped around her breasts and tied in the back, a large gold and emerald ornimate around her neck that went down to cover the front of her chest in a V shape, a gold and emerald circlet, two gold and emerald arm bands on her upper left arm, and gold ear-cuffs on each ear.

She had always known what her abilities were for it was included in the knowledge she needed and was given by her "parents" so she shape-shifted into a human form and found her way to some boats that were supposed to be going to other lands. While the boat was out to sea, a huge storm hit and not one survived the sinking of the craft except for her who had shifted into a dolphin. Whi8le a dolphin, she swam as far as she could go until fatigue took her into unconsciousness, pulling her back into her own form. The tides carried her to shore and when she woke, she was on the move again. The shore on which she had landed on had been that of what we now know as Indonesia. There, she found that it was very much so different than the land in which she had been 'born' to. Taking on a human form, Zia went to see what kind of people lived in this land. She had unknowing taken on the form of an eleven year old Indonesian girl. The first people she had met had thought of her as a child who had been separated from her family and took her in for the night for it was raining. While with that family, Zia learned the language and culture but after being with the family for about three months, Zia left them one day since the questions of who she was and where she came from arose... Another reason was because the children had seen her while she was in her true form and were plotting on capturing her while she was asleep and making food from her... Strange children. So again, Zia was on her travels.

Zia was still traveling when a man came across her while she was hunting. This happened in Japan. She had expected the man to try to attack her or something but instead, he had showed her respect. Curious of this man, she followed him on his beconings. From what she had observed, his home showed of his mass wealth. It did not matter to her, it was just an observation. The man gave her clothing which she did not accept but she did accept the food and drink, Zia having been hungry anyway and having developed a liking for alcoholic beverages over the past few years of being on the move. The man seemed to take delight in her accepting something from him and seemed to become friends with her. By then, she had the appearance of an eighteen year old in her true form. Having found that he was okay company and seemingly generous to her, she decided to stay until he asked her to leave.. which he did not. Then, one day, Zia found out from his wife that he had brought her here in hopes that she would be a guardian over their children who were to be born soon. Curious about the request, Zia remained and took on the job of guardian over the household, not knowing that they thought of her as a demon that they could use as a type of guard dog.

Zia remained at that household even after the death of the one who had brought here there and the aged death of the children. By that time, the only family member that remained was a grandson and the servants, the other grandchildren having left the household due to superstitions driving them away from there. The grandson had stayed only because of his always growing interest in the guardian of their household. At that time, Zia appeared to be 23 in her original form and no older. The grandson, having found an attraction to the, at the time nameless Zia, coaxed her to have a night of drinking with him. Secretly, he truly believed she was a demon and though that if he were to couple with her, he would gain her strength and whatever abilities she had. That night, he did indeed couple with her. In the morning, he set off to test the new power he believed he had and jumped off a cliff to try to turn into a bird of prey. Needless to say, he did not return to the household.

In the afternoon of that same day, Zia woke and left the household, agitated about the events of what had happened the night before and telling herself that she would not get into that predicament again. Knowing that the servants would blame her for the death if the body was found, Zia went on to travel again. While still in Japan, Zia found that she was with child, thanks to a conversation with the embodied version of her parents. Thinking that it would be easier on Zia if the child was born as the same age as Zia had been when she had come to the world, they made her be able to simply shoot out a sphere of energy and from that formed the child. Thus, the sixteen year old body of Melantha came to the world and Melantha was born.. But at the time, she remained nameless like her mother. Melantha was now the grand daughter of time and space and the child of Zia.

Due to Melantha not having the same shifting abilities as her mother, troubles did arise. The way she looked caused her trouble for her and her mother due to the fact that she couldn't go to many public places but it wasn't necessarily her looks that caused the problem, it was the fact that she would attack people out of nowhere and try to eat them... The result of this was that her mother and her had to travel much more often. Before they left asia though, Melantha acquired clothing: an oriental style sleeveless top that had Chinese-style buttons down the right side of the chest and that cut off in an upside down triangle shape. The top was trimmed with gold. The bottom was a loincloth of the same pattern at the top which stopped at the mid shin. A jade and gold necklace, fashioned to match Zia's in style and many earrings to match Zia's were collected and worn.

After leaving Japan, Melantha found herself casting away on the wrong boat, not knowing which one that her mother had taken but her sense of individuality at that time made it so she felt that she could take on the world then meet up with her mother later. After a a month out on the sea, Melantha found that she had killed off most of the crew. After another two months, she had all of the people on the boat and the ship was drifting freely. Melantha, seeing that land was in sight, jumped overboard and began her swim. The swimming was longer than she had expected but she managed to reach land before shaking herself dry and begining her exploration. From there, she continued with more of her travels and being the cause of thousands of deaths due to her hunting addiction.

Melantha managed to get a handle on her carnivorous cravings but it took almost a century to learn to cope to a point without just killing at a whim. This was achieved while she was in China. Another thing that happened while she was in China was that she learned various styles of martial arts by taking on a human form of a young boy from around that area. In the places she learned from, she vanished without a trace after mastering the arts. She also learned to better get a hold of her ability of controling animals, ber becoming more in tune with herself and of animal life.

When she left China, she decided to go out in search of her mother but by the time she found Zia again, it was very near a complete century's search due to limited transportation and due to Melantha haveing not one clue on where her target was. Melantha found Zia in where we now know as the Amazon... More like her mother found her. Due to her coloration, Zia had spotted her from a distance. Of course, Melantha recieved more than an earful of barrating in several different languages but she sat and listened to it all. They both then spoke of what had happened on their travels. From there, Melantha kept at her mother's side because she figured that several centuries of not being near her mother was more than long enough.

The girl and her mother moved from place to place until they were in England in Midevil times, when Zia was caught by a knight that had been hunting. He had caught her in a snare that had been for a boar then upon seeing her, thought of her as some sort of sprite. Melantha had been hunting for food also when she heard her mother's call as Zia got snared in the trap. She went to attack the man going towards her mother but her mother had whispered for her to stand back. Zia tried several languages she had learned over the centuries and finding one that he seemed to understand, she convinced him to let her out of the trap. Once Zia was let down, Melantha ran up to her defensively. The Knight kept them companions and named her mother Zia (it means night in midevil english) and herself Melantha ( which means dark flower and had been a joke since she was actually so pale). After a little time of knowing him, Zia became infatuated with him but later, when she found out that he had just been stringing her along to bring her before the king for the king's entertainment like some sort of exotic beast or freak. She became enraged and in her fury, wiped out everyone in her way as she left. Melantha had been no where near since her mother's infatuation due to a fight her and her mother had gotten into over the impending relationship between Zia and the human.

Upon seeing the bright flash of energy on the horizen, Melantha had ran to the area only to see ashes and smoke everywhere. She instantly blamed it on humans having found them only to be trouble for the majority of the time she had been alive. She found her mother the next day in the energy-using form and witnessed as Zia, while pulling forth a mass of energy, trying to see how much exactly she could do, caused Melantha's grangparents to fluxuate. The result of that fluxuation made Zia to fall into a deep sleep that night while they were in a cave, sheltered from the rain. That morning, Melantha saw that her mother was still asleep and left the cave to go hunt only to watch as the cave's enterence became sealed as it collapsed. She tried everything to try to dig her way back in but that only caused more of a block as more rocks slid down to pile on the old ones. Thinking that her mother was killed, Melantha ran from the place in tears.

For almost nine decades, Melantha mourned for her mother and killed any human who came near the cave which she thought of as her mother's tomb. Wether it be man, woman, or child, Melantha didn't care. No, to her, all humans were the same. Hatred that continued to build in her caused her to forget more and more things of her life until Melantha realized this and snapped herself out of it. After ninety years of guarding her mother's tomb, Melantha left to begin her travels again and to learn of the world. From time to time, she would return then try to dig her mother's form out of the tomb but nothing happened so she left that as is... regretfully.

At around 1400ad, Melantha journied to the lands she felt she knew the most since it had to do with her childhood... She went back to Japan. It took more than a year to find her way there but a year to one who has lived more than a millenia might as well have been a blink of an eye. When she arrived to Japan, she found that it had changed. She had almost forgotten how that was the flow of things. How rulers died and new ones filed their places. She also found that the technology had been made for the better just by seeing the way that buildings were made. Melantha had been tempted to live in one of the human villages but after the first demon hunt that had been arranged to kill her, Melantha killed any who got in her way by turning their own horses and dogs against them, then found a cave up in a mountains to live in, not letting any human come near without the toll of their life... Not devouring their flesh and making trophies of their bones.

They began to think of her as the guardian spirit of the mountain and made stories about her, a monster that took the mountain as it's home and killed any who dare tresspass. The villages at the bottom of the mountain began sending up sacrifices to her in hopes of her leaving the mountain one day and letting them be safe once more to climb it and get the medicinal herbs that supposedly grew at the top.

Since living in solitude as she did, she began to be filled with hatred towards all to where it was in her very core. The hatred and solitude slowly pushed into Melantha's mind, insanity. For almost forty years, melantha rampaged through the area, the creatures of the wild pulled up into her insanity and being filled with it themselves. One day, she came back to herself and looked around to see dead and dieing animals surrounding her, her having lashed out at them over territorial reasons.

Even though she was strictly a meat eater, she couldn't stand the thought of having slain those who had followed her and watched after her. That day, Melantha told herself she would no longer kill at a mere whim. She had tried not killing at all and attemptin to be an omnivore or herbivore but neither worked, her body rejecting everything except for meat. The whole experiance made a big change in Mealtha. She became more respectful of life and no longer addicted to killing. Thus the peaceful side of Melantha was born.

It wasn't until the 1800's that Melantha showed herself to people again and her first appearance was in North America. Still, she was not showing her true self, having shaved off her fur to try to look like others. But that didn't turn out as she had planned, her tail, bodyshape, style of dress, and eating habits having given her away completely. After the incident of people trying to get her to join Circuses, she decided to just learn about people from afar.

By the time her mother was free from her crystal tomb, Melthana had adapted very well to the world, being up to date with the way of life, and how to blend in... She discovered a nice product to use- Nair. After shaving, she used nair to get completely smoothe and hairless skin with the exception of her tail, eye lashes, eyebrows, and scalp hair. With the trinkets and jewlery she had been hoarding away, she got the necessary make up she would need to sell the rest of her trinkets and get a small apartment.. Of course she got more cosmetics so she could try this life of being around others.

Melantha learned how to blend liquid makeup to make it the desired skintone and how to almost perfectly hide her ears and tail. Her fnags and claws gave her trouble and so did her markings but she found ways to make a less deal out of them, telling people she had gotten some dental work done to get those teeth and managed to pass her markings off as glow in the dark tatoos. It was amazing on how many people fell for it.

That day that her mother had escaped from the multi century sleep, Melantha sensed it somehow. She felt restless and anxious.. And of course, confused. How could she feel like he mother was alive when she had died long ago!? Unable to stand it, she went out in search of Zia. What she was unaware of was that Zia would not remember her. That her mother wouldn't even remember ever having a child, the long sleep having taken chunks out of her memory.

She was about to give up on her search but then heard about a strange creature having been spotted. The description of the creature being that of her mother.. or at least close enough for her to assume it was Zia.

She was trying so hard... not as much on not being detected by her prey but to keep herself from accidently controlling the animal before her. " Oh I can't Do it!" She blurted out before giving a huff as the animal bolted off and as she stood. Pulling on her gloves, she sighed again and turned. Her mood for hunting was no longer there..
It was the third time that week that she had backed out of killng her prey as that same thought had come to her mind. The thought about if she was subconsciously making the animal stay there. With a dejected look, she walked out of the woods and headed towards a grocery store. She'd just buy her meal for that day. Melantha knew that she wouldn't be comfortable with going out hunting for at least the rest of the day, paranoid that she might cheat or something. :: Oh yeah, I'm just the IMAGE of a preditory one, aren't I?:: She thougth sarcastically.

I read it offline, there's a few large gaps and at the moment there's no details on her friends connections. Anyone important to her relations ought to be mentions, her grand parents being time and space ought to be added so people don't have to read the entire bio to see that.
A brief explanation of who and what her father was is appreciated please!
Other then that I can't remember any other issues I had... a few gaps in parts as a said, you seemed to skip large periods of her life with little details as to what she personally experienced, the highs and lows, the people who effected her in a large or small way...
I'll stamp but I really insist on those family details, this is a complicated family and we need to know more about her, she's too much of an enigma for people who read her bio even with all these details!

emmm Hi Cally. is that you (waves big furry blue paw in the air) and even if its not Cally Hi all the same.
One or two points. (and no. Its not cos your mum made love to someone else. how could you think such a thing!) Ok Shes a carnivour and you say at one point she decides she doesnt like this. How does she get round the problem??
Also as Angie says shes lived for a long time (although I accept her sense of time may be far different from ours) So how does she relate to humans??Zia's always looked upon them as worthless betrayers has this rubbed off on her or has she formed her own opinions.
I'd love to know if she had lovers or at least friends.Or does she keep everyone at a distance??Shes been awake all this time Does she understand the .......twenty...second?? (looks doubtfull )century better than her mother does or is it all still too much to take in??All this could be important (not to mention fun!) when she comes into play.

She, at the time she was trying not to be thecarnivorous one, had tried eating plants and only ended up with getting sick so she went back to eating like she's supposed to... that meaning meat strictly. She over the years, got over the most part of her problem with the meat-eating but still won't eat meat from an animal she thinks she might have cheated in capturing and killing.
With Humans, Melantha still doesn't really know what to make of them, having seen different things and having gone through different situations with them. At the time being, she is cautious about them and doesn't think they can be trusted but she's not exactly out to kill them either. Mostly though, she does bear some grudges on them but at the saem time, she's trying to figure them out for what they really may be... Kind of studying them.
Friends- Well, she doesn't have any friends, not having gone into the public but having observed perople from a distance instead. She had never fallen in love or had any relationship with anyone as far as romance goes, remembering where that had gotten Zia into.
With the knowledge of the present time.. She does know of it like a normal person of that time would mostly. She understands technology and can use it and she's not at all like her mother about the way she looks at man made things... although she does have her mother's view on human-prepared food, steering away from it.. But that's because she never tried people food.
Oh and sorry for taking so long. Our computer's messed up.

Sorry for the wait, but here it goes...
- you didn't mention any superhuman strength so how come she could effortlessly kill thousands without any of them defeating her? Or did she only go after women and children?
- Melantha doesn't possess any shapeshifter abilities; how could she "[take] on a human form of a young boy from around that area" when being in China? besides, martial arts would go under the skills category
- I'm no expert in medieval English but for some reason I doubt Zia and Melantha originate from that language XD what are your sources?
That's about all. Ancient beings are always hard to do historywise so I'm ok with what you've got.
Lastly, please also add whatever extra info you're giving/have given on request of the staff to your bio (and post it in your reply so we know what you've added/changed).
You'll need to reply to all points of criticism before bringing her into play.

I was puzzled by the 'shapechanging' thing then I thought you might mean she disguised herself as a boy like in Mulan so let it pass.
I do understand that with being so different she would have a hard time understanding humans but she has had a long time to find out about them Do you not think she would have made some friends in the circus or was she moving from one to another without spending enough time in each one to get to know people??
Anyway Like Matt says no major problems These are probably things that will get sorted out as you come to play her so...

Whoa, sorry about that "taking the form of" thing. xD she used to be able to do that in the origional version of her but I had took that out. What I had in mind though was that yes, she did dress like a human and tried to make herself look like one. The whole shaving off her fur, hiding her ears and tail and wearing gloves and shoes constantly... As for the names, The name ZIa DID origionate in Midevil language. I asked Zira and she said that was where it origionated from. Zira had looked up names from that era on purpose back when she first made her Zia character and was looking for a name for that very character. Zia means "night". But you're right as far as the Melantha name. It wasnt in midevil England but in Native American way back when.
As for friends, she had none in the Human species. She just watched and observed them and when she did make contact with them, it was not long lasting.. The killing.. She herself did'ty do all the killing, the animals did it too. But when the animals are attacking due to her abilities, it might as well be saying she's doing it.

alright, looks fine to me except for the bit with the killing. See, I wasn't on about the *number* of dead people but rather the fact that she could kill them so effortlessly. Or did she always use a small army of animals when going against someone stronger (which considering she's a female twen would be every male of 16+)?
Sorry for the nagging, I'm just trying to keep things logical. Maybe if you toned down her homicidal past to a more realistic degree...? But in the end I guess it'dbe ok like that anyway...
If you could just post saying that you've read the comments and all, I could move your bio and you could start off right away.. possibly here. You'd just have to get in touch with the player asking whether that'd be alright... then you could let her walk up to the gate, identify herself, be let in and come across Cassandra...?
