Melt in your mouth sausage Melt in your mouth sausage 2 To 3 lb Italian sausage links 1 c 1/8" sliced onion 1 c 1/8" sliced green bell pepper 1 c Water 48 oz Spaghetti sauce 6 oz Can tomato paste 1 tb Grated Parmesan cheese 1 tb Chopped fresh parsley Hoagie buns In 10" skillet place sausages; cover with water. Bring to a full boil; reduce heat to medium. Simmer 10 minutes; drain. In slow cooker stir together all remaining ingredients. Add sausages. Cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours. Serve sausages with sauce on buns. Sausage can be cut into 1" pieces and served with sauce over cooked spaghetti. Edited by: Cathean at: 1/4/04 3:52 pm |
