Hello everyone, Here is the news about the return of MicMac Records, Inc.
I have been working for the past 8 months on getting Major Distribution in order to re-launch MicMac Records with national distribution. As you all may or may not know, The music industry is going through it problems and things have been very difficult in successfully closing a deal that was set for several months with RED a division of SONY. We are still in the negotiating process and are also looking to seek other major distribution but MicMac cant wait any longer…
Therefore, MicMac Independently is in the process of manufacturing it’s first 12” record in many years. The first single on 12” Vinyl will be a 2003 remix version of “Try Yazz” Called “Try Yazz Again ” by Two Without Hats… Re-Mixed by Giuseppe D. and additional mixes by Pompeo Massano of Nu_Image fame.
This 12” Single is to create an initial buzz in the streets and on National Radio Mix Shows. Following the release of the 12” Vinyl will be a CD Maxi Single of “Try Yazz Again” by Two Without Hats which will include all of the New and Old Original mixes ever recorded.
This first single was a huge record when it was originally released in the 80’s and we feel that with the new re mixes, It has the potential to open doors and bring awareness to all DJ worldwide that MicMac IS BACK!!! This record is a mainstream dance record.
MicMac has also signed new recording artists to the label that have never been heard before and a few recording artists that you all know.

MicMac’s direction of music is to record Dance Music. I am not using the word “Freestyle” because of the stereo type DJ’s who will not even listen to a record if it has the word “Freestyel” in it but to answer the question in your head, Yes, MicMac will be releasing Freestyle Music once again.
