Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud/Der Blutharsch?
I'm not particularly familiar with either of the projects of Albin Julius: I have heard a few tracks of both, but that is not really sufficient to make a judgement. From what I can make out, The Moon Lay... is dark male/female folkish stuff with a fairly theatrical delivery, while Der Blutharsch is a return to more industrial loop-based music.
For those who are enthusiasts of these acts, would you recommend them to a fan of Current 93 and Death In June? I have heard a few of Julius's collaborations on 'Take Care And Control', but am not sure about Der Blutharsch because it seems rather overly militaristic and I am generally wary of generic martial industrial music which focuses too much on marching and war songs (something Death In June generally avoids). On the basis of this, do you have any specific recommendations? The Blutharsch track I have heard was from the album 'Track of the Hunted', and I found the 'rallying cry' samples rather annoying, but perhaps this is not the most representative work? As for The Moon Lay..., I hear that their later albums are better.

Get the new Der Blutharsch cd (has a great video on it) and it's much more musical and different from his other stuff. I just got it and think it's brilliant! It's titled "Time Is Thee Enemy" and truly is a wonderful album!
