OWNER'S COMMENTARY
I have decided to make this commercial to hype things up around my newest RPG, The Northern Kingdom of Arnor. I am sure many people have heard of it, though forgotten about it or even thought I have forgotten about it. Well, no. While you have relaxed in front of your screen all these months, I have not slept. Indeed, I have held both my eyes open sometimes into the wee hours of morning. Though mid-terms have held me away from development for a while, I'm back running the show. For now.

F.A.Q
1. Will there be player-made shops? No. The detail added in the shops would make that impossible.
2. Who is the owner of the board? I am the owner of the board.
3. Who helped making it? Nova6 made all pictures and the color theme. A few anonymous players helped "betatesting" it.
4. Why are the betatesters anonymous? Because I would not have a million people fly on them asking for links. Also, in case any one of them would give in.
5. Is there a finished plot awaiting the joiners? I have discussed it with my second-in-command Nova... Well, not really, but there ain't gonna be a plot until later. What kind of plot we are talking about I cannot tell you.
6. What is the color theme? The color theme Nova made for my on request was red, grey and black. It was decided AND made before The One Ring changed, mind you.
7. Because it's named the Northern Kingdom of Arnor, is it revolved around Arnor? - No, it revolved around the conflict between the three kingdoms of Arthedain, Rhudaur and Cardolan and their struggle against the evil Witchking of Angmar.
8. How long has the NKoA been in the progress? - It started February 20, 77 days ago. On June 18 it's 90 days since the project started. Two days after, the twentieth of June, we celebrate the fourth month in progress. Ten days after, the 28'th, we celebrate day 100. So there's a lot of celebration required.
9. Are you independent of Peter Jackson's Movies about the Lord of the Rings? - Yes. We have no real connections with the movies except for inspiration and two images used in the banner. Also, we would like to thank Sir Ian Mackellen in the RotK for saying "The Witchking of Angmar", because we loved the sound of it. At last, I would thank Peter Jackson for inspiring me to read the LotR books again, making me an obsessive fanatic!
10. Could we have a link or a screenshot? - No. I'm sorry. When I release the link to the public I want to drop the bomb on Hiroshima. Say "Ich bin ein Berliner". Surprise you. Jump out and say boo. Then you will pimp it like you mean it!
11. Can you join armies at the point of opening? - I'm truly sorry, but no. The army stats of three Elven armies, three Mannish armies and the army of Khâzad-dûm is done, but the rest still remains untouched.
12. Can you start out as an officer, or member of military guilds? - No. You could start out as a soldier, but not any more than that. Neither can you start out as a tower guard of Minas Anor, or a swan-knight of Dol Amroth. You would have to buy your own armor and earn your rank.
13. How many weapons can you start out with? - I am afraid you can only start with ONE weapon, or else the shops would be of no use.
14. What is the money type used in the NKoA? - We are using Silver Pennies, or Pence, which Tolkien only mentioned in Bree once in the LotR. I believe no other ezBoard RPG uses this type of money, and I am proud to say that we are unique also in this aspect.
15. Do you have a magic system? - Yes, we do have our very own magic system. You will get to see it when the RPG opens.
16. Is your magic system close to Tolkien's view on magic? - Yes. We read three-four professional essays and articles before we started development on the System.
17. Will the links change color after clicking them? - Nope. Thank god.
18. Can you start out with armor? - Yes. Though only basic armor; you cannot have plate armor. Scale and ring mail is fine, leather armor better. Though nothing fancy like that they sell in the shores.
19. Can players start out as experienced superkillers? - No. The idea is for the players to have an entire world to explore, without having to control armies. It adds to the experience.
20. It is understandable that Men and halflings and dwarves cannot have journeyed much, but several thousand years old Elves? - They would have to stay in their forests, or Havens, or wherever they are. Basically, a Lórien elf could journey to Khâzad-dûm sometimes, or through it to get to Lindon or Mithlond, but I seriously doubt he would go south to Gondor or other long travels like that.
21. What is the rating thingie on the NKoA? - The public anti-porn rating thingie is PG-13. If it was any higher we would not be accepted in the Middle Earth Affiliates Program.
22. Is there a locked forum for anything worse than PG-13? - No. That would also result in revoking of my MEAP application
23. Why do you think it will be a success? - Well, first of all it is unique in every aspect of the word. The timeline is uniques, the layout is done by the best of the best, the administrator is confident and experienced; and proffessional. If it doesn't kick off the owner will eat his toenails. OoC toenails. And he swears to Tolkien and the Sacred Book that he WILL swallow three of his toenails if the NKoA does not become a success. He takes this promise very serious, and would eta them in front of webcam if he had one.
