Need first hand accounts of paranormal encounters for TV sho
I am hoping that someone may be able to assist me with a small project I am currently undertaking for the W network in Toronto. (For website information go to: www.wnetwork.com)
At this time I am researching paranormal activity that has occurred in Canada, specifically encounters that individuals have reported to have experienced. Thus, I am in need of some contacts or sources that I can go to and research that will assist me in compiling a healthy amount of first hand accounts or stories of individuals who have they themselves experienced paranormal activity (e.g. saw a figure or entity, felt something touch them but nothing was there, and so on).
To give you a bit of a background the program will be a 30-minute show that will contain two 15-minute stories. The show's format is referred to as reality based, which means that the individual who had the encounter or experience will be telling the story from a first person perspective (speaking directly to the camera) and will also act as a narrator at times throughout the segment where the story is being visually re-enacted for the viewer.
We are also looking for experts within the paranormal realm that will be able to provide us with insight as to why this encounter may have occurred, and if possible give a bit of a historical background on the area in which the encounter was reported to have happened.
It is important to note that we are not looking to dispel or prove the encounter, just looking to enlighten and inform the general public that paranormal encounters can happen to anyone.
