New album for Faithless
"No Roots in June" will be the title of the new album of Faithless, it's the successor of 2001's "Outrospective".
According to producer & keyboard player Rollo Armstrong this is the best album he ever made and that's including the albums he produced for his sister Dido.
In regard to her he stated that she loves the album just as much as Faithless does and she has a singing part on the titletrack of the album and there may be a possibility that she will perform at some live shows of Faithless (she started her career singing with them).
The new single will be 'Mass destruction'. According to bandmember Sister Bliss the song is not typical for the album, it's a spicy song, which sounds as a whole from beginning to end. "The lyrics of the album are more political and confronting as before, but we don't push our opinions on people. Because of the recent events everyone is more involved in politics. We think now is a good time to emphasize the human aspect. Everyone should look at themselves and make it obvious that we no longer accept evil. We don't accept our leaders lying to us, we don't want any threats, we don't want any bombs, we have to find a way to live in peace with eatchother. This could not become a superficial record,"
stated Sister Bliss.
Faithless is best known for their hits 'Salva mea' (1995), 'Insomnia (I can't get no sleep)', 'God is a DJ' (199 and 'We come 1' (2001). They will also be touring in Europe over the summer, among the already known tourdates are appearances at Rock im Park, Rock am Ring and the Lowlands-festival.

I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
