Name: Nick Wechsler
Birthdate: September 3rd 1978
Born: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Parents: Janet and Joesph Wechsler
Siblings: Seven brothers (three younger, four older)
Bio: Nick joined his high school drama club in his tenth grade year after seeing a school production of "Tartuffe" that was bad and decided he could've done it better. His drama teacher urged him foward to join a school sponsered flim workshop, after graduating he moved to Hollywood to presue his dreams. Along with the minors roles he got after moving to the big city he worked in a record store to help earn money, because of his passion for music. However he didn't need to work there long, because he auditioned and got the role of Kyle on Roswell.

Nick Wechsler (Oct. 1999) -"The more I would see movies that I didn't like, the more I would be like, 'I know I can do better than that'."

Nick Wechsler (Oct. 1999)-"I love the ocean, it's not so much California's beach, it's just seeing this huge volume of water."

On his role as Kyle:
Nick Wechsler (Nov. 2000)-"In terms of acting, I had the most fun so far on 'Blind Date. You can call that one the drunk episode. It was a little more of a stretch for me. Kyle got drunk in that one, and I had fun attempting to not overplay it."

Nick Wechsler (Oct. 1999)- "The closer I would get, the more I would think, 'They're not going to cast me.' How could I possibly get a part -- a kid from New Mexico."

On Acting:
Nick Wechsler (Nov. 2000)-"I would be really nervous having any make-out scenes," he notes shyly. "Imagine, you don't know the person that well and you're supposed to kiss her and all this..."

Nick Wechsler (Nov. 2000)-"I hate listening to actors [invent their character's attributes]. It's like they're kissing their own asses about the stuff they added"

Nick Wechsler (Jan. 2001)-"I know plenty of actors who are arrogant and don't deserve to be. But because they are arrogant, they just perform better because they don't believe they can fail. I know I'm mortal and I explore it constantly, and because of that I get down on myself."

Forever the comedian: Who is the craziest of all of the cast members??
Brixton Karnes of TKR (1997): "Nick Wechsler!! But, we're all pretty crazy, too."
Brendon Fehr of Roswell (1999):"He also notes that a 'Roswell' cast and crew poll would surely vote Nick Wechsler, who plays Kyle Valenti on 'Roswell,' the funniest man ever. 'He's got these little things where I honestly think he's mentally handicapped,' Fehr jokes good-naturedly. 'You're like, from what part of the brain does this come from?'"
