Nikki's job ^_^
(Hehe, this was actually going to be about Carmen's job, but I think I like the idea of Carmen just kind of hanging out around town and at home more.)
Nikki leaned against the counter in the costume store, patiently waiting for her shift to be over so she could get on with her life. She didn't understand the function of a year-round costume shop. There wasn't much business unless it was Halloween or a costume party was coming up or something. Thank god the store also sold CDs, or else Nikki would die from boredom with nothing to do.
She also felt a little silly because she was required to wear a costume to work, and she would switch her costume at the end of the week. Right now she was wearing an innocent little girl-type dress that looked as if it was stolen from a baby doll, except for the fact that the apron and dress were splattered with fake blood, and she was twirling her rubber knife around in her fingertips in a bored fashion.
Her purple eyes shifted to the clock. "Damn... 5 more minutes..."
Garron came into the shop and snorted with laughter when he saw Nikki's costume. "Hello there, Nikki girl! You look positively deadly today," he said in an obnoxiously cheerful voice.
"Oh goody, my day wouldn't have been complete if the man-slut didn't come in to see me," she said sarcasticly.
Garron gave a toothy smirk. "I know," he said as he sat on the counter and tried to look down Nikki's dress. "Ow!" he gasped when Nikki threw her rubber dagger at him and it bounced off his head. "You're so mean..."
The girl smiled, looking rather pleased with herself.

Nikki laughed and looked down at her dress. "It would probably look better on you than me, dear," she said with a smirk.

Garron snorted a bit, but just shrugged one shoulder.
Nikki's eyes trailed off to the clock. "FINALLY!" she cried, nearly jumping up onto the counter in excitement that her shift was over.

"I don't know of any cows in the area," Nikki said with a smirk.
Somone soon came in to take Nikki's place at the register and Nikki led the two boys out of the store. She didn't even bother to change into her normal clothes, because she just wanted to get out of there.

Nikki laughed at Gannite's behavior. "I don't know about the clown thing... I've been thinking about a piercing though."
"Could you picture Nikki girl with pink hair?" Garron asked with an amused grin.
"Oh, Hell no!" Nikki gasped, grabbing the green streaks in her hair protectively.
