yeah, i had heard that he was breaking up the band but i didn't know he liked playing with Hole so much. he did write a lot of the songs on Hole's "Live Through This" album.

I had read that Kurt didn't get along with Dave very well towards the end. He just kept him along because he's an amazing drummer.

Also, I'm not surprised that he was thinking of just playing acoustic music. It was the electric grunge punk god status that he hated.
