Hey to everyone that came out to help out with the work weekend this weekend thanks. Saturday we repaired a bunch of fencing and blocked Two illegal trails and found 2 more that are causing a bunch of damage. We worked for 3 hours then rode Daniel to rocky mountain loop went all the way around rocky mountain loop back to Daniel and down Daniel and out. The days excitement was watching rob wheel his stock jeep with stock tires locked front and rear. It was awe inspiring what a stock tj with lockers will do. And Tim, Tim, Tim…………. Tim gave himself and us a scare crawling the wall on the right side of the gouge in the earth going up to Kodak rock. He was a close to rolling as you can get and not roll. Both right side tires were off the ground. He or god saved it and eventually powered up the obstacle. Then on Kodak rock Terry Keeling started to pull a very nice wheel stand and got a tick scared and backed out of the gas. And then backed off the rock. On the way back down Daniel it was Tim again. Dropping down off the solid rock turn he went down to fast. Stood his jeep up on the front bumper. Looked over for him to me. But Bruce jumped up and grabbed his rear bumper and it started to fall to the right but at the last second settled back on all 4 tires. Scary ride. Sunday was trash pick up. Did the usual sent 2 groups in from either side met in the middle turned around and went back down the hill. Collected enough trash to fill the back of dean’s jeep. Good job. Then we headed up the trail no problems everyone makes the switbacks in good shape. Then dean got his favorite rock right before the 3-point turn. While trying to wiggle off of it his left front axle shaft u-joint busted shortly there after it took the shaft with it. We pulled it and he 3 wheeled the rest of the trail. Still wasn’t a challenge for him. Good job dean. We called it a day at rocky mountain loop and headed for home. Thanks guy a bunch. I had a great time wheeling and working with you all. Roll call of who was there this weekend Anthony & Kiersten Haley both days, Alissa Haley Sunday, Joel Hamilton, Justin Klorf, Bruce Kocher, Chris & Alessandra Jernigan, Rob Neville, Bryan, Jenny, & Hannah Wood, Dean & Alice Smith were all there for both days.
