Off to the hairdresser?Tuesday, sometime in the afternoon
It had been quite a moment for the young nature-powered mutant. Really it had been an interesting week. She had made a few friends one early morning, gotten a date with the new hottie, Aeryn, and made even more friends that morning singing kareoke. Not to mention the fact that one of the newer friends happened to have a crush on her.
Armaan seemed like the shy type at times that seemed to be completely smitten with her. This didn't completely bother Kylora. It just was the fact that he seemed to get this glazed look and tended to agree with everything she said that bothered her at times. She had gotten that way a few times though with some of her crushes. So maybe time would help with that.
At the moment, the ebony-haired beauty was worried about her hair. It was getting increasingly hard to manage over the past few weeks. She hadn't really seen a real hairdresser in about 3 years or so due to her running all over the country. Sure, they would stay in places for a few months, but there tended to be gossips at the beauty shops anywhere you went. So, she and her mother had tended to stay away from them completely. Luckily, they managed to make friends with a girl just out of beauty school once and she had been able to teach Lenora, Kylora's mother, and herself how to cut hair. Really they had only learned which way to cut and such; nothing really too complex.
Right now, however, Kylora was looking at her ends and was cursing to find a few split ends. Yep, it was definately time for a trim. Maybe she'd get it really layered. That might be cool.
So, she started heading down the halls, her purse in hand. She started asking around about local hair places or even just for someone who maybe knew how to cut hair within the Institute. Someone mentioned that one of Multiple Man's dupes was a good hairdresser and maybe she should try him.
'Hmm...,' she thought as she rounded a corner, 'Maybe I should try him. It would certainly save me the trouble of finding a ride into town...' Thus she started her search for the hairdresser dupe of Jaime Madrox!
