We have a winner! I'm 6 books into the series. Erthane got me started on them. Fun read. I should be 7-8 books into the series after my flight to and from the east coast next week.

<smiles warmly> [I love these books.... Poll! What is your favorite one????]
<taps Iggie on the shoulder> Iggie, I do not believe that it is Ook in the library, but I think it might be Athriox. I found a severed foot from what looks to be an Albion. Anyone know where she GOT an Albion????
The eariler ones with the reluctive sorcerer and his luggage were great also.
Fear a 100 year old barbarian...that is ALOT of experience in LIVING.

Aragi! <runs over and hugs> When will we see thy face in the new guild hall???? Ye know, purple goes great with grey and Erthane has a whole pile of cookies just waiting for the "grumpy old dwarf!"
[I am still on the fence about which one is my favorite novel. I may have to go back and re-read many of them, as I read most of them the week before my due year old was due to be born (just to take my mind off of things ! I would recommend "Grandma Ogg's Cookbook" to everyone though. It isn't as well known as the other stories, but IF you know anything about Grandma Ogg you will find it quiet amusing! <giggles> Happy Reading!]
Re: Ook
[ Favorite book? You must be joking... Favorite characters is more likely. I just love the witches, and of course Death. ]

I love Death! <smiles warmly> But, I also love the minor characters that we meet from time to time: Reg, the wizard who takes the frog's pills, the were-wolf corporal, the zombie watchman, etc...etc...etc..!!!!
Mostly what I love about the series is that the more you read the books the more the characters begin to become "old friends." This and the fact that the books are filled with "subtle jokes" that only well-read people or avid gamers would get!
