Janet Holgate Registered User (3/6/08 7:27 am)	Op date at last! Hi everyone Just had a telephone call from Royal Manchester Eye Hospital to say I can have my cataract op next thursday (13th March). Was going to say no as its my dads 84th birthday that day but decided I would accept so hopefully this time next week it'll all be over and done with. Janet

It's a shame the date fell on your Dad's birthday, but these things happen. Hopefully he'll be helping you celebrate the next day. Maxine

Thanks Maxine Just had call from hospital there isnt a bed available so they have decided to do the op as a day case but still under general anaesthetic. Then will have to go back friday morning for check up. Just wish it was all over now, but hopefully I'll be singing "I can see clearly now" by weekend. Thanks for good wishes Janet
