PTV
May I request a forum for discussion of Psychic TV. I am aware that they have never been on WS, but still PTV is such an integral part of this magical musical current. Parallel history. Similar obsessions.
I have added one for Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV together, since they are related projects. I'm trying to get away from this site being associated solely with what World Serpent distributes. A few more members are required before these forums actually come to life, but it's early days yet. Bad press on the DiJ Yahoo list doesn't help.
The reviews which people have already posted have started to fulfil the original purpose: people who come to the site looking for information will find some useful guidance re. Current 93.

I remember that PTV used to stay at my friends loft in Boston MA at 23 ( yes it actually was 23) Stillings Street in South Boston. a nice huge loft- they would stay there- the first time it was a huge party- and PTV played AXIS and were doing their first kind of Acid House type deal stuff- that and they were selling Allegory and Self CD and record. I know someone who recorded that show- It was a great show- the place was so filled with fog machine fog that you couldnt see ANYTHING the whole night- and they played for hours on end- strobe lights with PTV cross on them is all you could see through the fog- I wish I had a copy of that show! Anyhoo I remember Gnesis at the Loft showing me his rings and a story for eachone. He took a sip off of my whiskey, talked about the song HAMBURGER LADY.
the, or should I say Thee second time they came round was the time they played the now defunct "Channel" and they played for a well over three hours- that too was really fun- ancd I wanst even on any drugs- just danced and danced- most of the people were on E so everyone was friendly, very friendly. that was the last time the Infinite Beat tour. Genesis woke me up with a ukellalee and I have him on a tape discussing the tour- I was tired and had to work early in the am- should discussed things more- I said something about "Its strange " about having some things in common- him- "It's not so strange" somewhere I sent this recording to someone at one point- I dont know if I could find that cassette again its somehwere in my heap of information. OH the last time after that was PTV# it was in MAY of (?) at the Longwood theatre i Boston ( now gone as well) a show with ZEV- two nights- I got some of that on tape- wish I got the CD at the time the PTV3, havent seen it anywhere! bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
