He’s a very talented inventor and mathematician, he can understand most equations at a glance. He is also an accomplished physicist.
fighting is not his strong point and although he can hold his own against a normal opponent he has to rely on his gadgets against anything stronger.
History:
Born in the late 19th century, Percy’s actual parents died when he was very young in a train accident and he knows only what he was told by his uncle Albert. Albert was a wealthy engineer who had commissions and projects across the known world.
As he grew up Percy's natural enthusiasm for creating things became increasingly more evident, with Albert finding all sorts of contraptions around the place, and he encouraged this creativity, even to the extent of converting the spare bedroom into a workshop for the young inventor. From as early as possible he was educated to the highest level available. When he wasn’t working his time was spent in library’s studying the works of inventors and engineer’s of the past and present and he was constantly drawing improvements to his own designs based on this research.
Once his schooling had finished Albert could see his potential and made him a partner in his business, drawing up the designs for his projects which included bridges, buildings, roads ect. He enjoyed this work, it gave him a chance to practice designing and helped him make a name for himself in his field, whilst still being able to invent things in his spare time.
It was at the age of nineteen that his life changed irreversibly. Walking home one evening from a social gathering
He and Albert were attacked by a man with what looked like a mutilated face and oversized teeth. In the struggle that ensued Percy was thrown across the street and knocked unconscious, when he came round in a few minutes time Albert was dead and there was a small crowd of people gathered around his body, it turned out that they arrived shortly after he was killed in time to see the attacker running off.
Percy was devastated, a police enquiry was unable to find the attacker and mystified as to why he had fresh bitemarks on his neck. It was this failure to find the attacker which caused him to seek out answers himself, he had heard story’s of mythical creatures actually being real and so spent days trawling the library’s of London finding out information on these creatures.
Four months after the incident he had all the knowledge he needed on vampires, he had a plan to stop his uncle dying, it was simple, using a machine he would create he was to go back in time to the point when the first vampire came into being (the exact date discovered during research) and kill it – thus stopping vampires from ever existing and all this ever occurring.
And so began his preparations for his plan, the hardest part being a working time machine, he had seen in his studies however a design by the artist and inventor DaVinchy which could possibly work if combined with some modern technology. Four years later the machine was created, along with a multitude of other things to help him, including a pair of modified revolvers, a small crossbow which attached to his wrist, a utility belt with all sorts of gadgets, a pile of random vampire related articles and finally a specially trench coat to conceal most of this – including extra padding in area’s vulnerable to damage whilst fighting.

He’s A cheery, good natured man who does not anger easily, he likes to converse with people, but sometimes when in conversation he might get a sudden inspiration on something he’s designing and start talking to himself about it which can become confusing. He is very quick learner and does not mind spending hours being told how things work.

He is keen on the works of great inventors and engineer’s, likes listening to classical music (its all they had at the time) and is fascinated at the thought of flying
Dislikes:
Trains – he wont even get on them due to his parents death and even though he knows exactly how they work and has designed a few it will still not change his mind about them.

the day had finally arrived, the machine was ready. Now dressed in his full suit Percy inspected the exterior of his creation one last time before stepping in. it looked like a large crate with a big clock on the front, with pipes and countless other bits of machinery around it, by looking at it no one but he would believe that it actually worked. With a quick glance at his pocket-watch he closed the door, he had to get this right, one false calculation and god knows where he would end up.
It took a few minutes to set the machine to the correct date, the steam engine which was supposed to power the thing had already been started up and all that was needed was to pull one last lever and it would attempt to traverse the boundary of time. He took a deep breath, “this is the moment…” he said out loud to himself “the moment where you find out how clever you actually are…” shutting his eyes tight he reached out and pulled the lever, his arm catching some dials on the way.
As the machine began to shake he opened his eyes again, not noticing the dials spinning, changing the desired date. It shook more violently now, he lost his balance and grabbed the sides to stop himself falling, his glasses dropping to the floor.
The shaking stopped, a whistling was heard inside, a strange honking noise could be heard from outside. Percy picked up his glasses and opened the door, he was no longer in his workshop, but it was not what he had expected. There were buildings surrounding him, and people everywhere. Strange things rushed past him with people inside, like horseless carriages. Afraid He slowly walked backwards towards the machine but a squealing made him spin round as one of the carriages hurtled towards him, smoke coming from the wheels where it was trying to stop.
He froze “oh my god…” at the last minute he moved, the vehicle clipped him as he dived out of the way, sending him sprawling along the road before it collided with his machine. With a sickening crunch the flimsy wooden machine broke, splintering to pieces. Percy groaned, the padding in his coat had absorbed most of the impact but his side still hurt, his glasses were once again on the floor but this time they had a large crack across the left lens. Most of the rushing noises had stopped, the vehicles now stationary and a few people had stopped what they were doing, he could hear someone running towards him.
i think meeting spike would be better, i don't really want all my character's hanging round the school, people will start to think i'm some weirdo lol
