Its not to make donations but it is helpful, Just the fact that these animals are living the way they do, Im just letting people know about it so they dont go to the circus.

Yes, I've seen something like this before. It's horrid the way those creatures are treated too. Several years ago I took my kids to a circus that was in town...back when they were young enough to think that was cool.

Anyway, my son got really upset when the trainer cracked his whip at the tiger and the tiger's ears flattened and hissed. Of course, it was made to look like part of the act, but Dustin still didn't like it. From that day on....he's never been impressed with circuses.

I've always tried to encourage my kids to visit animal refuges and places like that. Places where the animals are in their natural habitats or similar and the animals are happy and not in fear or cowering.

There's also been huge changes in zoos over the past decade too. Millions of dollars have been invested to eliminate the "cages" and replaced with larger areas of more natural and accommodating habitats. I was visiting a friend last year back home. We went to the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas. Wow, I hadn't been there since I was a little girl. The difference was amazing! They've done a wonderful job creating the "natural" surroundings thing and allowing the animals more freedom and comfort. All the changes were made to provide more comfort to the animals - Not for human entertainment.

Thanks for posting that Jenn. I've never been a huge fan of circuses. It could be because clowns scare the crap outta me... :eek
