Personality: Pride, ever since he was little, always had trouble meeting people. In school he only talked to the ones closest to him and completely ignored the rest. He was considered stuck up because of this- but in reality he was just shy. To meet people he really just relies on those around him to approach him first.
Pride is also very opinionated- especially about music. He only listens to Rock- no matter what kind it is- those who question with his music selection may find themselves being lectured.
Recently, Pride has been looking into religion. When he was a child he was a Methodist, though it was never pushed upon him. Now he finds himself questioning the beliefs. What is real? Is there a higher power? Where do I go when I die? Why do I keep living? Is there a point? Questions that may never go answered but will probably, ultimately destroy him.

Another thing, Pride is always "horny". Being shy doesn't help either. Even though he has never been kissed he craves attention from the opposite sex and can come out of his usual state of "shyness" to try and get some... which he has never gotten.
History: (From TOA)
He grew up an orphan- Pride has always been alone- except for his guardian- a woman who happened upon him when his real parents left him on her doorstep in Chicago, IL.
She was elderly though and when he turned 8 she was forced to give him up, due to not being able to care for him any longer. At 10, she died a peaceful death in a nursing home.
When Pride was taken in by another foster parent, he moved to St. Louis where he began to develop his social skills- yet he never fully grasped them. He felt that people had their own agenda's and he had his... after all, if they wanted to talk to him they would do so. This is why he lacks friends.
It was when he turned 15 he was chosen to pilot the next Eva suit. He wasn't sure what to say when he was asked, so he accepted the responsibility and the risks without a good enough excuse. With that he left the USA, also leaving everything behind him. It was time to start with a clean palette. But little does he know that the worst of times are still to come- but maybe the best too.
He has now trained in Japan for a full year and is ready to step into his suit which is finally finished and formated to his specs.
