 Question & Long Time No See.Hey guys... some of you may remember me... some may not, but I sure see some familiar names hanging around here. For those that do know/remember me, you probably knew me as Phoenixphyre Lorebinder, the High Elven enchanter from EQ. We played DAoC, but since a few friends of mine I play with chose to go Alb/Lance, I didn't get a chance to play with you guys there and WoW did not keep my favor very long. >71, BLM 40, WAR 35, DRK 35, SMN 31, NIN 30, WHM 30, THF 26, BLU 21, Various others: 10 and under. Re: Question & Long Time No See. I was wondering if Allied Giants were planning to, or were even thinking of, playing Vanguard, Saga of Heroes (Sigil Games, ie. Brad McQuaid's new game due out late this year/early next) |

There has been talks bout trying those games you had mentioned but at this time, there is no answer as to if AG will have a presence in those games. AG is currently in WOW but has a small presence in EQ still. Come look us up in WOW, Icecrown server. |

Re: Question & Long Time No See. WoW didn't hold my interest for very long, I'm afraid. I was not fond of the graphics, the crafting system sucks (and I have become a major crafter, though I suppose I was in EQ as well.), and my druid was rather lacking so I didn't get any higher than about 42 before I left (before the Druid changes). I played EQ2 for a while after that. It was fun for a bit, but the crafting system once again finally got me to leave. That and it was getting a little boring soloing all the time =/ So... like I mentioned, I'm back in FFXI. Though at the time I'm looking for a new game and Vanguard seems to have high appeal. The graphics for one are just gorgeous o.o; Some of the E3 reports are coming back with some very positive comments on the game play (it's fun! challenging! etc.) and char creation features from arm width, skin color, and the most highly talked about "Breast scale" (aka 'the boob slider' XD) But... the main reason I was asking is playing FFXI... some of the people in my linkshell enforced a lot of the same philosophies I share but sometimes forget... I've rekindled them, per se, and now that those friends are not playing FFXI as much, I'm finding myself drifting further away. But if I were to start anew, I'd rather have a guild of friends/family to do things and progress as we could. Kinda like how I remember AG was in EQ. Kevin (you might remember him as Kolvan of the Scaled Claw, the lucky punk) and I both thought it would be cool to play with you guys again. ^^ So if you guys ever consider moving to Vanguard, please let me know via the forums. Or if you wanna talk feel free to e-mail me or msn ^^ (reiryuu@hotmail.com). In the meantime I'll be playing FFXI or getting my anime/manga translation que into more managable levels *is currently about 12 episodes behind over 3 different anime series* >.>; *edit let's see if the sig I spent all the time writing works or even looks decent >.
