RT4/5 tub differences?
Does anyone know if there are major differences between RT4 and RT5 tubs? Such as, did an RT4 come with rocker arm front? If not, can the RT5 rocker arm setup be adapted to the RT4 tub with a minimum of hassle?

RT4/5 tubs
John
The master tub builder for the RT4/5 is Mark Bahner out in Calif. I am sure he can answer all questions. He advertises in Sportscar about every two or three months.

Re: RT4/5 tubs
RT-4's had rocker arm front suspension until 1983. They were then up-dated to pull-rod or is that push-rod? Marc Bahner would be the man to talk to, or Charles Warner who posts on this forum on a regular basis.

RT4 vs RT5
As far as the suspensions are concerned the cars are pretty much the same. The major concern is the track and length of ears used for the front pivot points. One suspension can be adapted to the other although they will NOT interchange. Careful comparison of overall dimensions of each part is required. Major difference is in length of engine legs (about 4 inches longer on RT4) and fuel cell area design.
