Radical CSR !
An open wheel racer came out last week and bought this car. He is switching to CSR or maybe running both! I'll save his famous name for later! Thanks CSR forum. Nathan

next year
Nathan: What are going to race next year??
Radical CSR !
Hello,
Is this Tom Nelson, vw powered 1800cc PCRR Champion? If so, good solid run at Thunderhill!
Yes I've sold my Radical. A couple of months ago I bought an 02 ZO6 vette and debated the idea of gutting it and racing T1. Well, the cage is in and we're sewing it all back together now. Loved CSR but just got itchee to do this. Tom you're fast, I know you we're talking about taking a little break but sure like to see you do the run offs next year. If I'm any good in the big cars I'll plan on going out there. Talk to you soon, Nathan
Re: Radical CSR !
Nathan,
I'm sorry to see you leave the class. You're a great competitor and a class act all around. Hope you have great success in T1. See you at the track

Radical CSR
Hi Garry,
Thanks for the kind words. I feel exactly that way about you and all these guys in DSR/CSR. I never gave it a thought about meeting people while racing but actually that's been the best part of it all. Bob Fox actually intro'd me and wet my whistle, he's great. Then there was Dave Arken who was chief instructor for the S.f. region who took me for a walk and talk around Laguna, man he told me a story about an incident with Bob Fox I think I'll keep in my archives forever. Whenever I had questions or could use a hand, there was always someone there and more than once it was you. Guys just being helpful although there was no $ profit in doing so. It's all been like therapy from the business world.
The sports racers are a sharp and close group, possibly because they are sort of united with the constant development of their cars. I haven't figured that one out yet, but I hope some of that exists in T1. The whole car club racing experience reminds me of grass roots motorcross. Nobody looking to take you out and it's all smiles in tech afterwards.
By the way, this forum is the most interesting! I'll see you in a couple months, Nathan

T1 racing
Nathan: Yes - the same Tom Nelson. Good luck in T1. I don't have enough friends to help push one of those things around the paddock! Also - It's been said that anything run with doors which open is not really a race car. Maybe you'll be back in a CSR some day.
