Random info: Regarding School layouts, Team attitudes, etc
Just a little bit of info, Xavier’s school is located one hour NORTH from New York city. That’s right people, one hour north. Juuust in case we ever want to mention that we’re heading one hour south to New York city XD
Second. New Lay out of the school and school grounds ought to be started on. This will include the pool, lake, stage theater, gym, rec room, and any new additional suggestions will be welcomed. I’d like to do up a list describing the areas, what’s found in them, and a basic layout may be helpful. The school possesses a graveyard and maze, neither of which has been mentioned, sooo I’m probably going to try and find out information on the school and whatever they have or don’t have in the comics we can remove or add to our desire.
The team rooms, group dorms in general, if we can plot out what the dorms look like so members keep a cohesive description of the layout, even if it’s just a picture, I was thinking of drawing one up in adobe just for a try. I’ll talk with Lady and Ann about it, as in the work they would compensate for Michael’s special needs in the bathroom. Each dorm has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a small laundry room, a main area which can be adjoined to the main room or in a separate smaller room… personally I suggest we have the open floor plan, but each dorm may be slightly different if the players want something else!
Bed rooms are separate of course, and aren’t extremely spacious, but not toooo cramped either, the teachers will assess who gets which room to save arguments, however of course we can say people switch rooms if they want and each like the other room more. In any case, rooms are permitted to be customized to personal taste, even down to wallpaper / paint jobs. Most will have single beds to save space UNLESS the team member requests for a double bed. Rooms will be described by the individual players of course, we’ll decide on the basic dimensions of the rooms all together.
It should be noted that all students who have their own furniture or belongings which wouldn’t sensible fit in their room or be used in any way would have it remain in their previous rooms which will NOT be taken from them if they choose to keep it in the background. The rooms however will be requested to be left unused as much as possible. While students are allowed to stay away from the dorms there will be a two night limit allowed without any prior warnings. This is so people don’t purposefully stay away from their dorms for days and days on end, I know some characters won’t take to the idea fantastically well, but they have their own rooms and they only have to sleep there with the occasional meals together. So I’d really appreciate it if not EVERY other character holds some major chip on their shoulder, I don’t think that’d be the case but at one point I remember a few characters who would take negatively to the move… and that’s not taking Exiles into account.
So aside from the layouts of the actually rooms, perhaps we should also get a grasp on who will take things as they come, who will attempt to give it their best, and who resents the idea. Character wise of course. Right now I’m not tooooo fussed on the layouts, but it’s something to be considered, more detailed thinking ought to be done by the end of the school take over. Anyone who has personal items, or things of extreme importance to their character, is warned to figure a way of finding a coincidental ‘safe place’ in which to store, leave, drop, or in any way secure these items. Best thing to do is take up the faculties suggestion when they ask if anyone wants to store some of their possessions inside the secure room called the Vault; which is located in the lower levels and is, remarkably enough, a giant vault. Anything in the sublevels of the school will remain unharmed.

Characters and their Attitudes
Angie's Characters:
Joshua Guthrie - He may be a little withdrawn, but at the same time he'll want to try and fit in again. I think Icarus would be attempting to make nice with people, despite his discomfort. This will be the first time he is on a 'real' team, as the previous year he was placed for a few months on a false one. He is the brother of Cannonball so Icarus already knew of the X-men for a while.
Riley Finn - They are taking him away from possibly long nights with Catherine...death to all XD Nah, Riley will be pretty anxious, remember he has a dog and he wouldn't give up Katie for anyone, she's his little girl! He'll be a little scared the others may tell him Katie isn't allowed in the dorm, which she will be if the other members don't mind, but until they vote on it Riley's going to hold a bit of a grudge towards the idea. That and most of the members of Green aren't really ith decent records, Riley is used to knowing what he's getting himself into, and for once he's pretty blind to a few people who he has to apparently rely on. He'll keep the place clean and cook his own meals, he's practicing how to cook so he'd probably spend dinners constantly in the dorm unless he was planning on 'accidently' running into Catherine down in the main dinning hall..
Connor Enright - Well I don't know... he's going through a bunch of things at the moment, he will probably be up and down. He'll definitely be uncomfortable and he would feel awkward knowing that he might know some people and yet doesn't remember them. Also his powers will be returned to him and he'll be readjusting to them.
Arlen Sachiel - I don't know where he'll be, if there isn't a place for him I'll keep him off the teams for now. But either way Arlen will be back to his bubbly self so he'll probably be happy with it.
Vohan Kekla Devark (Scott Freeman) - Absolutely purely delighted is just barely reaching Scott's gladness of this room change XD Living a stone throws away from not only Riley, but Michael AND Tessa!!
Max Chadstone - All I can say is...issues...serious issues... And that's before I get to his relationships with his team members XD I think Max is going to be unusually subtle now and then, with his occasional outbursts depending on the others. Watch out guys, he may give you the eye
Talia Wagner - Shy, but as usual she'll give it her best. Don't forget she is a back up for either Rescue Squads if they need the additional healer on a partifular assignment.
May Parker (SpiderGirl) - She'll be uncomfortable with living so close to others and yet she wouldn't mind getting accostumed to the feeling. May will slowly begin opening up, even if not so obvious to others she will relax around the group. May often talks with Sin, and has arguments with him when he takes her body out for a websling in town while she's asleep.. so that ought to be interesting XD
Charlotte 'Faith' Church - It would mostly depend on the people around her, Charlotte is shy but she's also willing to open up more. She wouldn't mind giving it a try but she'd definitely want hr privacy at the same time.
Heath Knight - Heath is a gentlemen, he'll do what he's told and hope for the best XD
Tommy Howard (Forlorn) -... Hmmm.. another unassigned guy XD
Angela Clarice - Party time! Scared of me? Good
Peter Parker (Spiderman) - I gues he'll have a bit of a chip on his shoulder, but not towards the team things... he like the fact he is on one just to help keep his mind off his situation.
Dawn Demore-Summers - Not being placed on a team.
Darren Ferguson - Another unassigned dude..o.o
Anna Drake - Death to all, and may all suffer severly before hand Don't worry, she'll keep her cool...*cackles as Frost keeps lowering the temprature*
Jade Korr - She'll do what ever a cosmic entity with highly contained though unlimited powers can do. *pictures her causing mischief without realizing it*

I'd like to see yours to get an idea of what you'd like us to write but it sounds really interesting and like a good idea so I'll begin thinking about it for sure, especially offline once Evan inevitably demands his time today.
One question though. I believe you had some charries who weren't going to be on teams right Angie? With Michael I now have one. What happens to these characters during all the team and dorm organizing?
And this one is more curiousity but if the teams are fairly secret within the school how does the extreme institute makeover get explainned to the non team students?

Well teams themselves aren't secret. Remember the school is trying to teach mutants how to handle themselves, how to use their powers in order to hopefully better fit into human society, to stop them from hurting themselves and others accidently. So the school could easily say it was a move to help push studenst to better work together in groups they may not bepersonally fond of first off.
In my schools we always had school teams, and we often got devided into them for whatever reason, and so I figured it'd be super easy just to say this was another step in trying to get the teams working closer together. I say we have the false teams moved into dorms as well but they'll be placed on the otherside of the school, just to keep them from accidently overhearing anything they shouldn't! I already mentioned that briefly at one point I belief, but nothing detailed so it's probably completely overlooked in my last dorms talk.
People not on teams of course stay in their own individual rooms. Just like the teachers, they stay in their own private rooms instead. That's why I have Lexi in charge of Green for example, but she still reports to Storm. Same thingwith all team leaders, they have a faculty member to report to.
Bishop may be the team leader, but he doesn't sleep with them, not unless he organizes something of an activity of course...*pictures Hellions having a slumber party*..>>.. but someone else in that group may end up having a stronger leadership personality then the other memebers and end up working their way to be something like a co leader when Bishop isn't around...
That was really just babble... anyway, hope that helps. People not on teams are just assigned to normal rooms.
