Ready for Valentine's Day <3
John stuck his head in the door and looked around to make sure no one was around before he came in with a large bag full of stuff. He quietly shut the door and was about to sneak into his room, but he noticed that the trap door in the corner was open.
"Thorn's home?" he asked himself, wondering why the girl wasn't hunting with everyone else. So, he went over to the trap door and descended a black gothic-looking spiral staircase into a circular red room. The entire floor was a matress covered in red satin sheets, and there were black fluffy pillows everywhere. Thorn's room was so romantic that everyone called it her 'love nest.' Thorn was laying in the middle of the room, staring up at the ceiling, and John set his bag down and lay next to the girl.
"What're you looking at?" he asked, and Thorn just smiled and pointed up at the ceiling which she had covered with glow-in-the-dark heart-shaped stickers.
"I thought they were cute so I put 'em up," she replied simply before sitting up and looking over at the large bag John brought in. "What's that?" she asked. She crawled over and looked in, then smiled. "Awwww!" The bag was filled with scented candles and various romantic things. "You're so sweet to Dane..."
John just blushed as he sat up. "Well, he's had a really rough life, and I want to give him a real Valentine's Day, you know?"
Thorn nodded and handed him the bag. "That's so romantic, Johnny Love! You should get that to your room before he gets back."
John nodded and took the bag from her, going back up the spiral staircase and heading to his room. He shut the door and got everything ready, Nirvana music playing in the background, and his heart froze when the doorknob started to turn.
