(Real Robot) The Conductor

Appearance: The orbital frame has a Head that resembles the Idolo or Sekmet. It is cone shaped with a camera underneath a clear, bulletproof shell. Comming out of the back of the head and running all the way down it's back are well over a hundred large tendrils that twist and contort like snakes. The Legs are very long, as are the arms, making it's body look abnormally small. The cockpit is identical to the Idolo's in placement and shape, however.
Color Scheme: Red and White.
Armament:
Tendril: The OF's Tendrils can extend for very long distances because of hollow segments inside the lines. These tendrils can pierce metal and constrict enemys.
Shot: Normal pulse blaster on it's right wrist.
Balistica: Fires a shot of plasma at an arc. This shot explodes on impact. Extremely useful against slow, ground targets.
Berserker:
The Conductor has a restrictor in it's central processor that keeps it from working at full potential. The amount of power produced is directly relative to the pilot's skill and reflexes. The more the pilot pushes the robot the more powerful it becomes.
MUMMY: A shield taken from a Mummyhead, this not only defends against most attacks greatly, but also heals the Conductor. Unfortunately, it only protects the front of the OF... the sides and back are completely open to attack.
Armor:
SSA (Self-Supporting Armor) -
Found on the outer shell of Orbital Frames. Derived from metatron technology, the metatron alloy coating on the exterior simultaneously gives it reliability, strength, and hardness exceeding that of ceramic components. Also able to self-repair using its own energy and metatron alloy.
Metatron Shield- An energy barrier created using metatron energy. This is an all directional sphere that protects the frame from most forms of attack.
History: This OF was crafted from salvaged materials during the last war. It was made primarily for guerilla attacks on BAHRAM forces in the outer mining towns. Fireheight was chosen to fly it because he is the only person who has ever piloted it to 78% effectiveness. Because the machine was custom built, it is highly customizable, sans the head and the generator. The OF has a pretty good reputation in the outer towns, but it is not considered an extremely powerful suit because of the limiter on the generator which cannot be removed. Though, at 100% effectiveness, this suit is a force to be reckoned with for even the strongest OFs.
The "Limiter" on the generator actually works in between the computer and the generator. It limits the amount of power the computer recieves and therefore reduces the CPU output. This was put in place because the suit is slightly unstable. The OF must constantly be repaired and monitored to make sure all the custom parts work together properly. If the OF pushes itself to hard it might breakdown. Therefore, it is not recommended to run it at full strength unless the pilot is extremely skilled, and even if it doesn't break down the damage to the suit might be quite extensive.
Special Attacks: Tendril Wrap: using the many tendrils around it's head the OF can constrict an enemy and crush them... or throw them... or whatever.
Special Features:
Anti-Proton Reactor- Reactor which uses metatron technology to considerably reduce fuel consumption. The Orbital Frame owes its smallness, lightness, and power to this concept.
Metatron Computer -
An enormous improvment the previously popular von Neumann digital computer, this quantum computer, which incorporates metatron-based integrated circuits, is both compact and exceedingly quick. Memory and programs are managed on a single, yet constantly changing set of circuits, so that both of these operations take place simultaneously and constantly. In terms of quantum physics, it operates in a different dimension.
Vector Traps- Devices that use Metatron to compress space and store various handheld sub-weapons in what can essentially be described as pocket dimensions. Vector Traps allow an Orbital Frame to carry many more weapons than any other mech possibly could.
