My friend Jessica's mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. As a result her and her sisters decided to put together a team for this year's Relay for Life event held by the Canadian Cancer Society and they asked me to join. The event is being held this weekend but we're still collecting pledges.
I know many of us are on a tight budget or aren't able to donate but if anyone here is able and willing to contribute I would hugely appreciate any small donation you could make to help me out.
click on the above link to get to the Canadian Cancer Society webpage.
On the side menu click on "Make a Pledge"
Select Pledge a Participant
Put in Chelsea Dinsmore
Select Pledge Me
Put in other amount and select receipt type
Fill in the information required and hit next
Continue on through.
Thanks for reading and I really appreciate all support in this!
Hon, I went to pledge 15$ and realized you don't have like a paypal thingy..... the trauma... I don't have credit cards. Do yooou have paypal? I can send the money to you and you can pledge it for me or something xD
If not, ah well.. thought that counts.. but if so, gimme details dammit!
Re: Relay for Life
Awwww thanks Ang! I really appreciate the thought
I don't personally have an account but I'm pretty sure my dad does and that would work... I'll go ask and get back to you on details shortly.
EDIT: Forgot about the scary happy faces, they've been removed!
Okay so my dad does have one but he can't remember it and he only uses his paypal account for sending money for ebay and stuff so he doesn't know about recieving money. I think though that you can sign up for an account without having a credit card so if I signed up for an account would that work? Edited by: Lady of Arendor at: 6/19/08 5:48 am
