Remodified ST Armor Pics [Upper Torso]
Well fellow troopers, thought I'd share some pics of my retrimmed and remodified Stormie Armor. Keep in mind that there is still alot to do, and this is only a draft.

I'm also attaching a 'Before Pic' so as you can see the slight differences. Please 'cuse the outfocus and lack of Bodyglove in some of the pics.

FYI, the 'Blaster' I'm holding in the one pic is my 'Tunnel Rat E-6 Handblaster'.

The neckseal is from TK-409. It is one awesome piece of custom work. Very comfortable and highly recommended! 5 Death Stars!!! ;)

That's right, just put your eye to that small hole in front:

Full Frontal:

Areas and mods done were:

1. Reshaping & trimming the shoulder bells, they are a now alittle slanted towards the elbow. More angular, looks alot better IMHO. Added some foam padding to the bells, allowing for a more 'broader' look.

2. Helm Bubble lenses were replaced with Flat ones. Hard hat liner was installed. 3 piece helm is now attached by flat screws.

3. Chest plate was retrimmed to look alittle more A shaped. If you look at the 97 pic, the chest plate was a little squarish. My shoulder straps were riveted to the chest plate ONLY. My back plate was cable tied to my front. AND the chest gap under my helm that looks like a second mouth, is now gone.

4. Cod piece was cutaway and attached to the ab piece via cable ties. Likewise for the butt area. Here's alittle thing I discovered while doing the butt area. If you cable tie the butt area to the codpiece at both sides, you'll get a slight butt shape. Giving your trooper butt some 'curves' that look alittle more realistic.

5. ALL attachment velcro was removed, cept for the shoulder bells and chest to back plate. Replaced with cement and cable ties.

6. My lower ab piece remained untouched cept for the edges, had the edges trimmed and reshaped.

7. The gloves are from JT USA, Premerie 2002 Paintball Series. Used em for Paintballing. Had 6 spare new pairs lying around. Figured I could repaint em and use em. Saving me some cash.

8. Chest plate has a voice amp attached.

To summarised, the armor now looks more to the ANH mods than it did in 97. If you LOOK and EXAMINED the before and after pics really carefully, you'll see the slight differences.

Plus most of the mods done, was based on my height, I'm a 36Short/1.66m.

Please feel free to comment on the pics. After all, you always learn from your mistakes. :)
